|Claudia Garner||Lemuel Royce date of birth|
Hello, Lemuel Royce was my 4th great grandfather. I've just gotten back in to my research and am figuring out how the little green leaves work in the tree, and the link to the Find A Grave picture that you submitted came up for review. I have a question about the date of birth. Everything I've ever found says Lemuel was born January 13, 1757 in Mansfield CT, but you have January 13, 1749. I'm just wondering where you came up with the date? My record is from Births, Baptisms, Marriages and Deaths from the Records of the Town and Churches in Mansfield, Connecticut. I have the book History and Genealogy of Langdon, NH 1787-1930, and it says he was born 1749. But then later in the article, it says he listed his birthplace as Mansfield, CT, and that he was 23 years of age. That works out to the date of birth that I have. I know there has been confusion about his age, because I remember hearing he was 104 years old when he died. I think that was from the internet someplace, but it's been so long, I can't remember. Anyway, I just wondered if you have any documentation about the date of birth? Have you seen the poem that was written in the 1840's, told from Lemuel's eyes? I have been to the Old Fort #4, and we'll be in NH again in July. I'll probably go to the fort again. Have you been there? I'd be happy to share what I have if you need anything. I'm glad to see the date of birth question. I'd like to get this straightened out. Have you joined the DAR? BTW, I descend from his daughter, Fidelia Royce Bacon. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Always glad to help. I'm pretty sure I have Jesse there but I need to go back with some more facts in order to verify.

Thank you, Rosemary, for your incredibly prompt transfer of my Dad's memorial. And an even bigger thank you for creating it in the first place. I noticed when I went back to Mom's memorial that you weren't managing that one. Sorry for the confusion. All the best to you!

Hi, I thought you'd like to know, your memorial 99510642 has been repaired and is level. Florence had such a nice stone, it was sad to see it askew. If you are completely bored check out my volunteer Facebook group gravesavers all work done for free!
|Farrar and related families||Thanks for your note.|
Thanks for adding the note into the bio of Katherine Parker also. We are always working to get the gravestone pics requested and posted, so the note will be very helpful in preventing future photo requests for a gravestone for Katherine.

|Robert Bason||JOHN JAMES BASON|
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, ROSEMARY, for the great picture you took for me of the grave of John James Bason in Galva Cemetery. He was the first Bason of my line to be born in the U.S. (His older sister was born in England before they emigrated). I AM SO GLAD TO HAVE IT. Thank you too for the work you do for Find A Grave. It is INVALUABLE to us genealogists. Bob Bason firstname.lastname@example.org
