#39739771 Jean Willes
Jean was my great aunt. Can you please correct a couple mistakes on your memorial, which by the way is excellent.
Jean's birth name was Jean Willes. Her father's name was William Willes. I don't know where the name Jean Donahue came from.

She always used the name Jean Willes (her maiden name) in the movies. Also, she was only married once--to Jerry Cowhig.
My family visited frequently & she was very kind to us.
Thank you for correcting the errors.

RE: Alvin Brothen
Hello Douglas,

You should keep yours being yours was posted first, and ask the others to delete theirs. After some time -- if they don't, you can forward it to

Best regards,

re: Alvin Brothen
Hi Debbie - Thank you for the heads-up. I added the cemetery information that you gave me. I wonder if I should delete my memorial. It was entered long before the other with many connections etc?
Thank you for your kind assistance. Doug

RE: Donald & Alec Ross
I must have deleted them from my records when they were entered with burial info by another contributor.

My reply: Apparently you don't fully understand the guidelines. The date the memorial is made only applies to duplicated memorials who both have grave sites; not a BU and a gravesite memorial.

When you make a BU, you are taking the chance of losing that memorial when the grave site is found by another member.

All BU's are merged in the grave site memorial and the member who "finds the grave" manages the memorial; not the member who made a memorial with an unknown grave site. The date the BU memorial was made has no bearing to this situation. All memorials should have a grave site before they are made. Read the guidelines.

Alec Ross
Alec Ross' bio was accepted and his memorial was made Famous. It was one of your original BU memorials.

Donald Ross
Just letting you know that Donald Ross Find A Grave Memorial# 55448988 was made today a Famous Memorial with the bio I submitted. Please rank the memorial.

I have also submitted his brother Alec today, but haven't heard about this one. I believe these were once your BU's....right?

Mary Ellen Sappington Good
RE: Thank You and --
Doug - I am working on my Sappington genealogy and came across the information about Ralph Love on because his maternal grandmother was a Sappington. Ralph is listed in several family trees on where his middle name is given as "Samuel". According to the Federal Census records also found on, Ralph's birth year is given as "about 1899". I have not found anything that gives the actual birth date. In those same Federal Census, Ralph's place of birth is given as "Missouri". I guess a person would have to try and get a copy of Ralph's death certificate to see if it lists the actual birth date and place of birth.

Bio for Patricia Ann Ferguson Sembenini
Please check Find A Grave Memorial# 3791905. You entered a bio for this memorial that really belongs on a different one.

Please correct this soon. Thanks.
