Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have now been back in Colorado for a couple of years but I am still dreaming of waterways, bridges, moss covered trees, and yes the rain. I don't know if I will ever get use to the snow but I am told we need the snow for the water levels during the summer. I am unsure of the numbers but I believe rain works better and it doesn't require a shovel.

I have been lucky enough to connect with family and friends. While in Oregon I had some great Colorado volunteers that helped me with my family's stones and have had the pleasure of meeting and working with them in Colorado and meeting new ones along the way.

I have had quite a couple of years, babies born; friends & family that have passed; reconnected with friends from high school; getting to know my granddaughter, and I have had two surgeries.

I have been working a number of cemeteries trying to help family find family and over the last three years have heard some of the saddest and happiest stories from family that were so happy I helped them locate a missing loved one. I still get surprised when someone mentions the number of memorials I have loaded or the number of photo requests I have completed. I do this for you and the numbers mean nothing. If I was somehow able to help one of you during the day find an aunt, uncle, sibling, grandparent, parent, or childhood friend it is you that has given me a reason to smile that day and continue on with what I do.

Also, I believe in transferring photos to family no matter how many generations removed. I believe the four generation rule is used for hoarders that are interested in numbers and just want to keep your family. One of my pet peeves is people taking over or starting memorials that do not know how or have any intention of maintaining the site. I feel the family belongs to the family but should be with a family member that is going to insure that links and edits are going to be taken care of in a timely manner.

I do not transfer to non family I volunteer my time for the family and that is where I want them to end up. I am impressed and grateful that there are people who take time to work on groups and any editing you require or photos you need I am your girl but NO I don't transfer to non family.

J. J. Peters
Thank you for the photo. James Peters my husband's great grand uncle. I believe this James was the same person as the James Peters who took the famous battle scene photographs in The Battle of Batoche in 1885 in Saskatchewan. Both he and his brother were there and we have been told that we were connected to this photographer.

Thank you so much for locating his unmarked grave and taking the time to label the graves on either side of his. This is very helpful.

RE: Elizabeth Finn
Thank you very much for finding Elizabeth Finn. I had been looking for two years with very little current info. I used what I remember as a young child when she visited my other grandmother. I did know where her son - Fred Eddie Butler - 1910-1976 -was buried and where he died. This man is buried in the Fairmount Cemetery, Denver, Colorado. His second family and another spouse have lived in the Aurora/Denver area for many years. There are five more children as part of Fred Eddie Butler's progeny. Thanks again.

Clarence, & Lulu Johnson
Thank you so much for the photos of Johnsons'! I had the information from the mortuary but had never actually seen the interment pictures. Lulu was my grandfathers sister and I had never met her, only through pictures. Thank you again for this and all the work that you do!

glory bound
RE: Maria Lomicka
This is glorybound and I believe I took a "claimed" site of yours, maybe more? I am new to this and was unaware of how it worked, I saw a request and followed up on it. As I look at the requests now, I see that there is a "claimed" marker in the corner. I was not aware of that before this.
I am sorry for the toes I have stepped on and hope you will accept my apology. I did go to Fort Logan today and filled many requests, then found these messages when I got home. So I'm afraid there may be more. But, as of today, I will avoid "requests" and just a photos randomly.
I hope we can be friends after all the trouble I stirred up :(

Thank you for your help in this matter,
