I've working on family history since I was 13 years old and my favorite place to be is walking through a cemetery (especially an old one). I am orginally from Western New York, but now live in Montgomery County, Texas. I wish I had a digital camera 30 years ago when I was taking pictures of cemetery markers - I would have a heck of alot more photos to share. Every chance I get back home to New York, I always love to go to the cemeteries in the area. Would love to help anyone with finding/photographing markers around New Caney, Texas.|
For more information about my extended family and ancestry please visit my website (over 40,000 individuals in my database - mostly New York, New England, Canada, PA, and NJ families. With a large concentration in Livingston, Steuben, Allegany, and Ontario Counties in New York)

Andrew there is a death record in Palouse, Whitman, WA for a Mary Jane Burditt d. 9 Apr 1915. The only discrepancy is her father's name is given as O'Brien. I found that she had a son, Allen who lived in WA state until his death in 1932. (His death record is also listed with parents names) Hope this helps.

Hi, I searched Prospect Hill cemetery for these names but didn't find anything. Subsequently I found a detailed listing at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~palackaw/cemeteries/PropectHillCemetery.html
Based on this, James and Bertha should be in the same lot as Mark and Mary. There are no additional markers in this area, but there is some extra space. I got distracted (partly in a search for my dog) so I neglected to take pictures of the spot. Once I get back there, I'll get some photos and post them, but there won't be any stones for James and Bertha.

Andrew, you are very welcome. It was a lovely fall weekend for searching. Would you like the memorials transferred to you as they are related? I always prefer if family has them! Kim
