I noticed that difference when I compared the linked survivors with the obit. Not sure why the paper had it wrong. Probably just a typo. I should have put (sic) behind it. I always hesitate to change spelling or anything on these obits I transcribe, since I have no personal knowledge about the families, but some times I might if it is just a town name misspelled, or something obvious like that.
