I am retired so I have time to walk through the cemeteries and take pictures. In mid July 2010 I started a project to record as many memorials for the cemeteries in my county (Broome, NY) with pictures that I could. This project is drawing to a close. I have completed all the cemeteries that I am working on. There are still 4 other cemeteries being worked on by others. I have moved on to cemeteries in Susquehanna PA and Tioga NY.
The following link will show all the cemeteries in the surrounding counties photographed (by me and others!) and added to Find A Grave:
Broome County NY Cemeteries
Tioga County NY Cemeteries
Susquehanna County PA Cemeteries

If I have added memorials for any of your relatives, please thank me by visiting a nearby cemetery and add the gravestones there for others to find their relatives.
You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for private uses. For public use, you may use them as long as I am given credit. For commercial use, please contact me.
If any of the memorials I have created need updates, please contact me. If any are a relative of yours and you want to manage them, let me know and I will transfer them. Please use the edit tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or update.

|AMC||James W Gibb|
Many thanks for you response to my email.
Last night I added the parent Find A Grave links to the record for James White Gibb so he could "join the family". I received an email early this morning from you - through Find A Grave - rejecting the request because the data conflicted with what you knew. I presumed, consequently, that I needed to send you additional documentation about James Gibb. I think I need to email the creator of the James White Gibb record with the additional documentation.
That was my purpose in writing.
Many thanks for all the wonderful work you do for Find A Grave.

|Suzanne Roberts||Many thanks|
Many thanks for your efforts in photographing tombstones. Because of your efforts, I was able to see my cousin, Margot's marker and that of her father, my uncle, Howard.
What you are doing is so valuable to family members who have not been able to go to the cemeteries.

Hello,I see you have put a memorial in here for my Grand Uncle Alfred George Rivers.
There are two Alfred Georges.One was born in1871.He had a son born in 1895. I'm not sure which one was in WW1.
I'm trying to find out through Ancestry .com.
Thank you. Best Wishes.Brenda Rivers Bixler.

thank you so much for the time and effort put forth in your cemetery photo project. your project helped my find some "misplaced" ancestors that were long thought to be buried one place and actually turned up someplace entirely different! thank you again.
