Darwins
Thanks for the kind offer Peter, I think the ones I am looking for MAY be in the Cambridge area, but you can imagine how pleased I was last week with: *Amy Ruck (Sir Francis Darwin's first wife),*"Nain" Ruck (Sir Francis Darwin's 'first' mother-in-law, and a very close friend of Charles & Emma Darwin, both in Corris, Wales, and also *Richard Buckley Litchfield, a.k.a. "Uncle Richard" in Cannes, South of France.

These were on top of *William & Sara, North Stoneham and *Leonard & Mildred, Forest Row, and Leonard's first wife *Elizabeth in Putney Vale, London. Also the year of death of Henrietta 'Etty' Darwin has been corrected on Wikipedia, and where it is wrong in two ODNB articles written respectively by a 'Darwin' descendant and a trio of 'Darwin' expert scholars will be corrected from 1930 to 1927! You could say that Find-A-Grave is currently leading the way on the Darwin family; many thanks for your help Peter. Is there a Wedgwood buried at Down? Martin.

THE FAMILY OF CHARLES & EMMA DARWIN
THE FAMILY OF CHARLES & EMMA DARWIN: we now have images of the graves of all 21 members of CHARLES DARWIN's immediate family: Charles & Emma, 10 children: with 8 wives and 1 husband; 19 in England & 1 in Wales and 1 in France. (This level of detail on Darwin's family has never, ever, been available before and it is only recorded, mainly by me/you on Find-A-Grave.)AND NOW FOR THE GRANDCHILDREN! Martin

Thanks Peter, I thought of you on Monday afternoon in the churchyard at Downe : what a great yew tree! Also the gravestone of Mr.& Mrs. Parslow of course. A Darwin descendent has asked me when am I going to "publish" on Cambridge. Where are you now? Martin.
