Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing Find-a-Grave for a while now and have decided to change my bio a bit.

Here are my thoughts on this stuff.

Relax..enjoy what you're doing otherwise you should stop before you get too far into it. No man is an island and this certainly can't be done alone. Rather than complain about someone's them with it.

TRANSFERS: I transfer on a case by case decision. If for any reason, you can't maintain the memorials I've transferred to you, I'll be more than happy to take it back...please don't ask for a transfer of group surnames.

PICTURES: If I've taken a picture or attached a document ... please help need to give me credit. I don't need to toot my horn or have it tooted. I've added them to the memorials for everyone to use. If you want to attach a picture to my memorials that are better than mine...please do so. I welcome them, but keep in mind I might use them in if they're in my family tree....thanks again in advance.

EDITS: If there are errors in any of the memorials that I've entered please let me know. I'll be glad to correct them as well as make any changes necessary. PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON.

FLOWERS: PLEASE PLEASE don't use the flower section as a place to add a bio for the memorial...that isn't where it belongs. If I happen to come across one on a memorial that I've created, I will ask you to remove it. I'll gladly add it to the bio...just send me an EDIT. If it isn't deleted in a timely amount of time I will ask to remove it.

DUPLICATES: Duplicates's impossible not to happen. We've all created duplicates. If you've created a duplicate, please don't ignore the courteous request to delete them. I will gladly delete mine.

It's hard for me to understand that these memorials belong to any one person....I believe they belong to "all" of us.

A sincere THANK YOU to all the Find a grave volunteers for all the hard work, help and dedication that you've given me.

Re Dennis Heston
Hi Connie
No I do not know where Dennis was stationed or anything. Now that it's been a year, I'm not even sure how I came to make his memorial or where I got all the info. Good luck in your searches.
Sincerely, Debbie

Emma Simard Fournier
Hi Connie,

I was working on Aime and Emma Simard Fournier and noticed your message to appears the mystery continues!

I'll email the death certificate to you for Emma Fournier Forcade, she died in Texas on Oct. 23, 1955 and that was the date and place of death that was incorrectly listed on Emma Simard Fournier's memorial.

I hadn't noticed that the dates listed on Emma Simard Fournier's memorial page differed with the actual headstone as Suki had pointed out but would imagine that date is correct :)

Could it be yet another Emma Fournier that died in February 1955 and is also buried in Biddeford?

I did create a memorial for Emma Fournier Forcade. That family originated in Canada, lived in Providence, Texas and Florida and are not related to this Fournier family....I'm pretty sure I tracked them back to Guilluame Fourner and not Nicolas Fourner which is the ancestor of Aime Fournier.

I'll message Suki too.

Thanks! MJ

RE: Emma Simard Fournier
Hi, sorry I don't have access to obits before 1990 (unless they are part of what I copied from the library). Pity I wasn't in Maine now like I was a few weeks ago, MacArthur Library in Biddeford has all the obits from the Biddeford Saco Journal on microfish, you can look them up and print a copy for 10 cents. I do have Emma Simard Fournier listed in my cemetery books, it says she was married to Aime and died 31 January 1959 - but looking at the monument photo that TeamScanlon posted on Aime the monument says she died 31 January 1955. (P.S. the monument also says she was born 3 October 1887.) Suki

RE: Baptism Names
Actually, I forgot to mention - Marie and Joseph are NOT just baptismal names. My uncle's baptism name is Joseph Arthur Roland Gagnon - his REAL name is Joseph Arthur Gagnon - basically the forth even though he doesn't have any numericals on his birth certificate. He went by Roland all of his life, but his real legal name is Joseph - his mailman almost didn't leave a letter from me because I addressed it to Roland Gagnon....just sayin' Suki Davey

RE: Baptism Names
Hey Conni, I only use the Marie and Joseph when it's like that on their birth certificate. And yes, it does cause confusion which is what I tried to explain when I was getting constant corrections. There are SOME people who don't mind 4 names in the middle name block, but get irate when there are two names in the first block. That's the reason for my comment on my home page regarding "at least it fits the box" Suki P.S. I took over 6,000 photos in Maine....been quite busy, haven't found Chevrolet for you yet.

RE: Pischke vs Pieschke
If there are more errors that you come across please let me know.
The sur name spelling was changed by a few family members due to (family lore/rumor) the children being teased in school.
