Glenn, I am so sorry to bother you again so soon. I will try to make this my last request of you for today.

At your convenience, could you please transfer Helen C. (Decker) Springstead Find A Grave #55940194 and her mother, Maria Decker, Find A Grave #55940195 to me.

Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you
Glen,

I was just karting around on Find A Grave and saw you. I must applaud you and the others for your good work!

I also am part of a group that have been working on preserving a cemetery in New Jersey. We have a Face Book page and you are more than welcome to check it out! In fact I would be honored! Just search for the Friends of Swack Swackhammer Church. Built in 1844 disbanded in 1896, last burial was in 1915. No one ever took care of her and the kids were so bad to the cemetery. They were riding their 4 wheelers through the cemetery, over the graves, knocking down and destroying head and foot stones. We had trees growing around head stones up through the church ruins. It was a total mess!

We also have helped another group that is working hard to clean up forgotten cemeteries in Hunterdon County, NJ. They handle all the paper work for those. We mainly concentrate on the paper work for the Swack because they are our ancestors!

So thank you so very much for what you are doing! Could you imagine if everyone would split up into groups and help these old cemeteries to be respectable again and give those interred in them their respect back! What an awesome thought!

Walker family in Alma
glenn, in the memorial for Martha J. Walker (nee Gay) you have her shown as her own sibling, findagrave memorial # 61480417. I am the g granddaughter of the other sibling you have listed, Emory Gay. There are several other siblings, and I will be happy to link them if you'd like to turn over management of this memorial to me.

Thanks for all the work you've done in these cemeteries. I also have a question re: Carlisle H. Walker's death date. The stone shows 1932, but other records indicate 1930. I can't find an obituary, and wonder whether cemetery records might give a clue. I know the Martha J.'s brother, Emory, died in Washington and his remains move to Kansas for burial. Others weren't interred immediately, so it is possible Martha's son, Carlisle H. is the same case.

Kindly,
Linda Gae Johnson Kelly

Hi again, Glenn...Re the above I.D.#, is it possible this should be David G.(for George) Darling, as opposed to it presently being David C. Darling...Unlike his wife Hannah's entry (which I will shortly be connecting up to him by way of the edit function), there is no pic of his headstone...Also, I AM NOTICING WITHIN YOUR LISTED FIND-A-GRAVE FRIENDS SOMEONE WITH THE LAST NAME DARLING...CETAINLY FEEL FREE TO GIVE THEM A SHOUT OUT, AS THEY MAY BE RELATED & THUS INTERESTED IN WHAT BOTH I & YOU ARE UP TO...Again, Regards

Greetings & happy holidays, Glenn, from a fellow volunteer, albeit a genealogist who predominantly works from familysearch.org, & routinely uses this website as an additional research tool...Having come upon the Woodworth clan, I am in possession of numerous Census records (in total 6) spanning 1850-1880 timeline on subject two individuals, aforesaid records declaring significantly different yrs. of birth for both of them than what their present entries show...Before I commence connecting together their family members (& NOTING THAT FIND-A-GRAVE UNFORTUNATELY DOESN'T ALLOW ONE TO ENTER ANY DATE INFO. WITH THE DESIGNATION "APPROX."), can I ask you how you came upon their yrs. of birth? There are at present no pics. of their gravemarkers, SPECIFICALLY NOTING EVEN HEADSTONES HAVE BEEN SHOWN TO BE WRONG (ditto Cemetery records)...Await your feedback, as I continue to strive for as much accuracy in my work as possible, MOST ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM ENTERING THAT WORK BY WAY OF EDITS ON FIND-A-GRAVE...Regards
