Bio Photo My name is Marilyn Price Morris. I was born in Russellville, Arkansas and presently live in Blue Springs, Missouri. I am married to Walter Lewis Morris. We have two daughters, LaDonna Gorden and Stephanie Morris. I am currently collecting information to compile the J. D. & America Rook Smith history, BDR & Nancy Smith Shinn history, Frederick Smith and Lisia Alita Epps history, George Washington II & Ruby Elizabeth May Price history, Lavina Love history, Benjamin Nixon Rook history, Dempsey Griffin & Rebecca Brown history, and Daniel Levi and Laura L. Griffin May history plus other allied lines.

You have my permission to copy any information and/or photos without asking for my permission to use in your family history that I have added to my memorials. It is nice to receive credit though.

Hi Marilyn! Thank you so much for this message. I must tell you this is such an amazing coincidence!
Yes I remember you helped me so much with Sgt Marcelus C Baker and his parents, he was crew mate of Lt Starcher, uncle of my very good friend and WWII research Pal.
I am not personally connected to this family. I had been visiting this very beautiful and historic cemetery garden even years before I became a volunteer for findagrave. It is located in the downtown area where I live and is very close to my home. I became good friends with the manager. I noticed very quickly after I volunteered that the cemetery had not been photographed nor were many documented on findagrave. I obtained permission from the manager to document and photograph the graves. There are many folks buried here that are tied to the history of our city, and this family is one of them.
I have higher quality photos than those that were able to be uploaded at the time I documented all. I can email the better ones to you. There was also a wonderful article about this cemetery in Our State magazine a couple of years ago and I have this article I will also send to you.
