I live in eastern Oklahoma, right on the AR border. I have dog, cats, donkeys, a mule and a Shetland pony. Oh yes, a husband too. |
Someone was so kind to find a headstone for me and I feel like I would like to help someone else.
I am enjoying the fascination and addiction that is genealogy.

I know the feeling! I have a lot of family that have no stones. The stones (that are left) in that area are in terrible condition according to the book. I'm hoping to get out there next week weather permitting (it's cold and snowy today) so I will take a photo for you.

I was going through the photo requests for Calvary and saw yours for John, Mary and Ida (and the problem with Ida). Ida is, in fact, buried in Calvary; however, there are markers for any of them. Here is the information I found
Section 17 (F) Lot 97 West Half
Lot Owner - John Rosch
There are no markers in this lot.
These are the known burials without markers:
Rosch, Alexander 20 July 1944 68 yrs.
Rosch, Freda 4 July 1931 48 yrs.
Rosch, Ida 22 January 1903 18 yrs.
Rosch, Mary A. 7 August 1935 78 yrs.
Rosch, John 29 March 1912 58 yrs.
If you would like, I can take a photo of where they are buried, even though there are no markers.

I took the liberty of posting your photo on her memorial. If this is not o.k. with/you, I'll delete. :)

Yes, you can use any of my pictures. I take them to share with others. Becky

I totally disagree! A picture is worth a thousand words - it can help confirm or deny, as this one did quite well.
Sorry it's not the right person, but the bio and pictures I added are probably correct for the Max Durst you are looking for.
I can leave it up for a bit - feel free to grab them, to help track down your Max.

Perhaps I'm confused. The way I look at it, this is the only Max Durst at Montefiore, so the photos are correct. The Bio and naturalization document are wrong.
Shouldn't the memorial for your Max be at the cemetery where he turns out to be buried?
No problem getting the pics. I take my walks through there whenever possible.

Thank you so very much for getting this photo for me?
I photo whole cem and will post ASAP if there were stones.

No, I haven't been to the cemetery ... I was just looking for a death date for your two people and when stuff like this comes up, I can't ignore it. So I posted the memorial. I can email you the death certificate if you wish ... but you can also click on the image to bring it in a separate window and then right click and "save as" and put it wherever you want it. Must be you found the other burials ... :) And I'm perfectly willing to transfer George James to you ... I only made the memorial as a place to post the death certificate.
