My ancestors settled in northeastern Indiana in the 1830s and I am still here. I especially like old obituaries and newspaper clippings, and of course, cemeteries. |
I generally follow the transfer guidelines as outlined by Findagrave. I try to get updates done quickly.
Exceptions: I often take photos when we go on vacation, so if I have a memorial that is not in NE Indiana, I am normally more than happy to transfer it as I have no plans to do research in those areas.
Thanks to all who have sent additional information for the memorials. Time does not allow me to thank each of your personally, but please know that the additional information is greatly appreciated.

I will make a note on the memorial regarding the difference of dates

I was just curious where you got a birth year of 1806 for Philip.. According to the 1860 and 1870 census he was born about 1818 or 1819
I would like to transfer the following grave sites if you are willing

Thank you for posting a picture of my Great-Great Grandfathers headstone. Just starting to do research and this was a nice thing to find. Dale

Nice work on the memorial for the children. They aren't family to me so it is okay to leave as they are. I did add the photo for the memorials. Kennetta

Hi - Mary Ann Albin Buntain # 64080343 was my 3rd Great Grandmother. I would greatly appreciate if you would link her to her parents: Moreland Albin # 90313088 and Sarah Albin # 98809680. Thank you so much! Mary

Just found some photos I took a while back and am not posting them and noticed the headstone has different spelling than what you write, just food for thought on it. Also have photo that has two other children of her and Warren that are not mentioned nor is there a memorial for them. Do you have other information on more children? I will add and post if you wish. They are not family, one of those walk through the cemetery photo sessions.

The marriage is on familysearch.org including a photo of the record for Stephen B Lewis & Hannah K Parker.
Here is the link:
I stumbled on this family by accident while looking for a Parker Lewis (like their son) who married a Stokes in Carroll Co. My Parker turned out to be Parker Lucas (not Lewis) of Carroll Co, IN
Happy hunting, Suzy

Interesting! When I click for the larger view they are right side up! So, any idea of how I can fix it?
