If I have entered a memorial for a relative of yours it is because when I was at the cemetery I look for other 'interesting' headstones and something must have drawn me to your relative. I will gladly transfer ownership to you if you e-mail me thru find-a-grave or at email@example.com and give me your membership number.|
I welcome corrections and updates...please use the EDIT tab on the memorial rather than contacting me directly.
You have my permission to use any of my FaG photos for your personal use. You will need to use the images on FaG because I do not keep the original .jpg images after I post...too many pix and not enough terabytes of storage!
I particularly enjoy visiting the remote rural cemeteries. I make every effort to find who is the steward of the cemetery and attempt to get a map of the sections and lot locations. (usually the county clerk at the courthouse has the steward information). Most of these stewards are old and all share a common frustration that nobody wants to take over the responsibility from them when they are gone. They are delighted to learn that FaG has taken the interest to list and photograph graves in their cemeteries.

Thank you for your response Bill. Perhaps he is not actually buried there since his stone is in SC, along with a son. Thank you for your efforts. Bev

There is a memorial for him in Carolina Memorial Park, North Charleston, Charleston Co., SC, Find A Grave Memorial# 51633970. Headstone provided. I am using this memorial for my record at Ancestry.com.
Thank you for your assistance and I appreciate your help. The photo you provided in Eskridge Cemetery did not show an actual personal stone for him. I was hoping to verify that he is actually buried there.

Thanks for the lovely picture of the obelisk for James & Cornelia Washburn. Do you have any idea who is on the other sides of the monument?
