LeAnn and I retired from the State of Kansas and City of Topeka respectively several years ago. LeAnn's family is buried in Illinois and Bill's family is buried in Topeka, KS.|
If I have entered a memorial for a relative of yours it is because when I was at the cemetery I look for other 'interesting' headstones and something must have drawn me to your relative. I will gladly transfer ownership to you if you e-mail me thru find-a-grave or at firstname.lastname@example.org and give me your membership number.
I welcome corrections and updates...please use the EDIT tab on the memorial rather than contacting me directly.
You have my permission to use any of my FaG photos for your personal use. You will need to use the images on FaG because I do not keep the original .jpg images after I post...too many pix and not enough terabytes of storage!
I particularly enjoy visiting the remote rural cemeteries. I make every effort to find who is the steward of the cemetery and attempt to get a map of the sections and lot locations. (usually the county clerk at the courthouse has the steward information). Most of these stewards are old and all share a common frustration that nobody wants to take over the responsibility from them when they are gone. They are delighted to learn that FaG has taken the interest to list and photograph graves in their cemeteries.

My sincere (and much delinquent) thanks fro photographing Gertrude's grave. My mom, her sister, had hoped to see it before she died. Sadly, Mom's memory has deteriorated greatly in the last few months. I won't show this to her, but it means much to me.
Granddaughter of Charles and Vienna Briner
