Bio and Links
Bio Photo My ONLY intention is to create a HISTORICAL RECORDING of those who are "Gone, but not Forgotten" before their tombstones are lost forever and if that helps YOU find your family, super!

My paternal gggrandfathers were Alexander Allen (m. Nancy Adeline Branson) AND William Irvin Brewer.
My maternal gggrandfathers were Albert Lafayette Rogers buried in King Cemetery, Franklin Co, Arkansas and John Henry McGee.

Thanks to Teena Cantrell for helping me find my great-great-great grandparents John Pitcher and Polly Allen. And Thanks to Alvin Derby and Betty Taylor Thompson for helping me find Camp Meeting Cemetery where they are buried! What a treasure you are!!! All information about Camp Meeting Cemetery is by John Albert Burnett in the 1920's.

Thanks so much to Linda Creamer Furr who passed away June 2012 and Linda from Arkansas for all the biographical information on my entries in Franklin County, Arkansas.

Remember me, as you pass by,
As you are so was I.
As I am you soon will be.
Prepare in Life for Eternity.

Oh Yeah, Meet you at the East Gate!!!

I just wanted to let people know that Rose Marie was a victim of spousal abuse. He beat her many times before shooting and killing her. She was a very dear friend.

RE: John Quince Brewer
Wow! OK, I've got it now. You're Corrine Allen's daughter! Your mother and I have corresponded many times over the years. I had the please of meeting her at a family reunion in Arkansas a few years ago as well. I too am a direct descendant of Bryant & Sarah Brewer. Florence was my grandfather's half sister (Richard Franklin Brewer). I would love to correspond with you and share information. We can do it via email and get off of this public forum if you like. Hope to hear from you soon!

RE: John Quince Brewer
Thanks Frances. I think I've got it. Yes, I do know Ron Wall. We have corresponded many times. Most of the Brewer information on his web site came from me. In any case, it is great to make the connection with you. You mention you are related to the Brewer family. May I ask how? We may still have a connection yet undiscovered!

John Quince Brewer

I very much appreciate the information you posted on John Quince Brewer. He was a distant relative of mine. I knew his brother Doyle well. I was wondering if you are related to this family or have additional information. I can recall my father (who was from Arkansas) mentioning the Titsworth family. Is there a connection?

RE: 82141610
Thank you Frances,

I'm sure Effie BAKER was linked here to Mr. Foster because of an EDIT that was submitted to you. At first I was elated to find her listed as having married Mr. Foster here as I've found nothing on Effie "Susie" BAKER after her marriage to A. J. Cato in 1928 in Faulkner Co., AR. (and the death of A.J. Cato in 1931).

But I'd rather see the error get corrected rather than have it mislead people. Thanks again - Kelly

Hello Frances,

I am curious to know if you have any records that document that the woman recorded on memorial # 82141610 was, in fact, Effie "Susie" BAKER. I ask because I've not been able to locate any records on that particular daughter of Calvin D. Baker and Mary Catherine Hawkins other than her married to A. J. Cato in Faulkner Co., AR., on April 23, 1928.

A. J. Cato died in 1931 in White Co., AR., on 1931, but neither he or his bride seem to be anywhere on the 1930 census and I can find no remarriage record for Effie CATO in Arkansas.

Also I have Effie "Susie" BAKER's date of birth as April 5, 1906 (Faulkner Co., AR.) yet here on her F.A.G. memorial it is listed as Nov. 24, 1907 (almost 20 months later).

Additionally, I have found other information that indicates that the wife of James Arthur "Art" FOSTER was named Effie Ursula LINGO rather than Baker. This same info shows the father of Effie Ursula LINGO was a man named Oliver Jackson LINGO (b. 1887) and his wife was named Myrtle I. Slate.

This is why I'm curious to know if you might have any documenting information which proves that the wife of James Arthur "Art" Foster was in fact, Effie "Susie" BAKER. Thanks and best wishes to you - Kelly

Levi Burton Kelton
Frances, I know you have been to the Kelton Cemetery in Winslow, Arkansas because you have taken photos of many of my relatives. You took one of my great great grandfather, John Burton Kelton. My great grandfather, Levi "Lee" Burton Kelton, is also buried there (1874-1937), according to his obituary in the newspaper. His death was a suicide and I don't think the family paid for a headstone. I would just like to know if you photographed all the headstones when you were there. If you did, that means he doesn't have a headstone. If you have a chance, could you tell me if you photographed all the stones that were there?
Thank you, Karen Kelton (
