I found obituaries for a class reunion on this site that couldn't be found else where. It was a great help to me and my fellow classmates. It helped give closure for some people. I want to try and help other people find what happened to friends and family, so I post every obituary I can in my spare time. This gets very time consuming, but I feel it is worth it. I enjoy posting, and making a link for future generations to their past.
I have met lots of wonderful people thru findagrave, but I have to say I have also ran into some of the rudest, most hateful people. If you can't be encouraging, just keep it to yourself.
If I make a mistake in any of my postings, I do apologize. I am human just as you are. Send the correction per below, and I will correct them.
THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for a transfer BUT PLEASE do no ask for a transfer that is not within these guide-lines and PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED. AND, BE LOGGED INTO FAG WHEN MAKING REQUESTS.
For extended family members you can add them in
Virtual Cemeteries as I have.
PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB on the upper right side of the memorial to send corrections. I will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members.
That is all that is needed, no smart remarks, no rudeness, no hatefull, or snide comments needed. Thank you very much!
If you have a name change, please send me some way I can verify the name change. I go by what I find listed, as everyone does. I can not just change a persons name on someones say so. Thank you for understanding.
