Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I are currently working on my family geneology. Many of my elder relatives have died, taking with them a tremendous amount of unknown and undocumented history. We have many regrets and have vowed to locate and document what we can now, before it's too late. We spend most of our free time in cemeteries or locating records (but also fit in camping and fishing trips). We are still fairly young, still working and have a young son, so we don't get as much time as we'd like to focus on these interests. An additional passion of ours is to reclaim our forgotten and neglected pioneer cemeteries, so we spend a lot of time re-erecting and/or locating headstones and cleaning cemeteries. We enjoy photographing cemeteries as a way to help others and to preserve this history for future generations.

Find A Grave Memorial# 41481241
I had a memorial transferred to me because he is family and I can add info to it. I now notice you have Find A Grave Memorial# 41481241 which is the same realitive. Although yours was entered a month before mine, would you please consider removing yours so my realitive stays in my possesion.

Thank you for your consideration.

Casey-Dugan Cemetery
Hi, I noticed that you had gone there to photograph a gravesite, and I was wondering if you had a list of everyone who is buried there or do you know if the cemetery has an official contact number?

I am looking for someone in that cemetery, but this site doesn't have them listed.

Judy & Steve,

I believe this to be Louisa B. (Dorris) Emmerson, my great-grandmother, b. 04 Jan 1853 d. 03 Feb 1881 buried at Emmerson Cemetery, Wright, MO. In 1875 she married to William Franklin Emmerson, in Wright, MO. She died after giving birth to Annie Leora Emmerson and Frances Udora Emmerson. Frances died shortly after birth and Louisa died a few hours later. Louisa and Frances are buried in the same grave.

Mary A. (Dorris) Emmerson, b. 04 Jan 1846 d. 03 Apr 1874, was her sister, who was also married to William Franklin Emmerson. Dora and Rubanna are the children of William and Mary.

William Franklin Emmerson is buried in Star Cemetery, Star, Ada, ID with his fourth wife, Margaret Sophronia Hutsell.

Thank you,
Richard Bennett

Thank You
Had a late night and got to thinking about dad...I never saw the picture of him before that you all had. It means a lot to actually have seen it.

Hi, I have transfered this memorial back to you as I have recently learned this was not my g-g-g-grandfather. I have created a new memorial for him at 93963576 at another cemetery, in fact his burial is unmarked.
The info I received from another contributor/relative is that your memorial is:

from Company B, 8th MO Cavalry and was only 19 or 20 years old at enlistment in 1864. He was mustered out in Little Rock, AR in June of 1865.

I have notified other contributors to change the link of his children also.

I apologize for any inconvenience for this.

Blessings, Martie
