First I want to say a big "thank you" to everyone who leaves my twins and family tokens, I am very grateful. |
My dad died in 1972 when I was 9 days old and to this day I have not been able to find his resting place which is why I do what I'm doing here as I know how hard it is to find a loved one's resting place.
I can go to cemeteries in Enfield, Edmonton, Cheshunt, Chingford, Clacton, Colchester, Feltham, Heathrow, Waltham Abbey, Walthamstow and areas around them, maybe I can go further out, all depends how far. I can help with your searching for your loved ones grave in England if your not in England. I can also help with any research you may want help with in the same areas or in the UK if you are from a different country. I have the National Burial Index, second edition and will get the third when it is available, so if you would like me to do a look up, then just ask and I will quite happily.
If there is a memorial I have done for a loved one of your family and you would like it removed/changed or transfered then please email me and I will do it for you, or if there is any mistakes or anything else wrong with a memorial I have done please let me know.
A noteworthy inscription found on a soldier’s headstone in an English country churchyard reads:
Take nothing but photographs
Kill nothing but time
Leave nothing but Footprints
***I am sorry for very late replies to emails, corrections etc lately but have had problems with my email address, so have made a new one, sorry for inconvenience***

You’re welcome. I hope I can get a photo in better light next time I visit.
I found the grave of my great-grandparents at Cowpen; so will be back to look for other relatives.
Also there are about 20 war graves that I haven’t photographed.
Meanwhile I have asked for those memorials I have photographed and which are wrongly recorded on Find A Grave as being in Horton “moved” to Cowpen Cemetery. The IWPP Custodial Account took weeks to move all the ones wrongly listed in Horton to Blyth Links Cemetery.

Thank you for the following photos:
James Brown, Leo Brewer, John Bratton and Sam Brown. Thanks, also, to your friend for photos from his library collection for both Harry Benner and Benjamin Olar.
These photos truly enhance their respective memorials and are very much appreciated.

Hi, I have been to Great Lumley Church yard this morning and there is no headstone for Thomas. Most of the headstones in the old churchyard have been removed for safety reasons.

Hi there, notice you have war dead entries in "The old manse burial ground", I think they should be in in the Old Dalziel Cemetery in Netherton which is a another cemetery about a mile away, I read an article about 2 soldiers and it's netherton they are in, regards Stephen
