Bio Photo Please feel free to contact me for changes and corrections to memorials, or if you would like a memorial transferred to you that I have posted. I am usually happy to transfer a memorial of a person that I am not related to, but if I am related, I would prefer to keep it. It's best to use the Edit Tab on the specific memorial to make it easier for me to find who you're inquiring about. I get a LOT of edit requests and transfer requests!

I was trying to find this lady's grave or memorial because her daughter was at my home and she was very young when her mother had passed. She said she sure would love to see her mother's grave and find out where it was so she could go in person. Someone had already posted a picture of it and she got to see it and cried like a baby. I was just so glad we found her, it was so heartwarming to help her.

I read the memorial you created. Do you have any more info on his Mother Susan Foley B 1865- d. 1884? & her father A.J.Foley, who died at home during the civil war. I have been looking for both of them on Find A Grave without success. Thanks

Morris Collie Brincefield Jr.
Morris Collie Brincefield Jr. is my older brother and he was born in Danville,Danville City, Virginia. He is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Eden on my grandparents, Ed and Jenny Hall's lot. When my mother, Thelma Hall Brincefield was in labor, her uterus tore and Morris' neck was broken during birth and he died.
I changed his birth and death place. I wanted to let you know why.
Can you transfer Morris, and my grandparents to me? My number is 47437474
Thank you for all the work you have done at Woodlawn.I appreciate you so very much. I have pictures that I can add to these.Thank you again.

Lightfoot Ann Higgs Wilson
In reviewing my research of Lightfoot Ann Higgs Wilson to answer a question posed by another find-a-grave contributor, I discovered that there appears to be duplication of memorials for Lightfoot. Yours (memorial 63702246) lists her name correctly at the time of her death as Lightfoot Ann Higgs Wilson. A second, memorial 55566632 maintained by Wilton Golson, list her name as Lightfoot Ann Higgs Howerton (Lightfoot's first husband was Robert Howerton and her second was James Garland Wilson.

My previous experience tells me that it is sometimes difficult to reconcile duplicates. However, I just wanted you to be aware of this.

Thanks for everything you have done to help me in the past.

Lightfoot Higgs
After taking another look at this, I think that maybe Lightfoot married the Howerton and Wells and possibly a sister married a Howerton and the Wilson. What do you think?

Lightfoot Higgs
I am researching a Wells family for a cousin's husband. His 2nd great grandparents are William Washington Wells and Lightfoot Ann (Higgs?). I am confused by the information posted for Lightfoot Ann Higgs Wilson. Here is the information I have found on familysearch.

birth of John E. Wells to William Washington Wells & Lightfoot Ann Wells 17 Dec 1858 Henry Co. VA.

1860 census Henry Co. VA: Wm W Wells 29, Lightfoot 23, Martha 3, John 1, John Higgs 56, Ro Bryant 35, John E. Wells 22 (NOTE: brother of Wm W)

1880 census Henry Co. VA listing: William W 49, Lightford 40, & 7 children including John E 21

Robert Bryant signed the marriage bond for the marriage to Howerton. Any ideas on the marr. to Wilson and the marr. to Wells?
