We are all volunteers here - be courteous. |
I do not respond to transfer requests or edits left as messages on this page. Please use the Edit system.
I try to check every edit I receive. Don't be offended if I have a question or ask for your source. It's a good thing.
Regarding edits - I do not copy and paste obituaries or other items from published works, nor do I make edits based on you copying and pasting death or birth index information from other sources. Take the time to write a bio or enter it into the automated edit system. Win/win.
I stick to the FaG guidelines for transfers - I have had way too many issues - and I find that usually, when a contributor with 'tons of information' is declined a transfer, they never send the information when the transfer is refused. Go figure.
Lastly, please do not add any photos other than the headstone photo or a photo of the individual. All other photos (death certs, birth certs, obit scans, etc.) will be removed.

|Laura Phillips||Francis W Laqua #92884629|
Regarding my edit for the above memorial to add his parent's memorials to his page. Why do you consider this fraudulent and should be reported?
Francis is listed on the Database of our WWII soldiers who were KIA and buried in France, as the brother of Thomas John Laqua. He is also listed in Ancestry as the son of Frank William Laqua and Gertrude (Schillie) Laqua. Could you please give me an explanation ??

Ok. Thank you for the reply. The birth year fits my relative and I am fairly certain she died between 1920 and 1930. Her daughter and son-in-law are also buried in the cemetery as well. I will continue to try to find more information and will let you know If I do find proof.

I have a marriage record for Franklin Pressley and Harriet Hall for Nov. 5, 1876 and their first child Lavada, my grand aunt was born in August of 1877. I don't have a death record for Elizabeth. I am basing my date for her death on her husband's second marriage.

Thank You, I have it in my notes and will show it to the office when I go back. Maybe they will find their locations
