Bio and Links
Bio Photo I lost touch with my family over forty years ago after my father died. Now thanks to Ancestry, Genes Reunited and Find A Grave, I have made contact with cousins that I hadn't seen since 1970 and many more that I ever knew I had. I now have relatives (some very distant) all over the world.

So now it's payback time. I'm adding all my photos of headstones and any grave details that I have that may help others.

Hi Lawrence,

Found your photo of Gerty "Marsh" Girdler,
Was wondering how you are related to her, she is my Father in Law's great Aunt..

Cheers.

Mark

I will get a photo of Anastatia McCarthy's grave.

She is buried in Section "A" Lot X137 Grave "N". I ran her info today.

RE: Dicker graves
No problem - I just wish I had been able to show you more in the photos than a load of long grass!

I swear my eyes are going bad! Never mind my previous message. His obit does state birthdate in obit as Oct. 8th as does his death certificate.

Thank you for sending the info. Just FYI: I added his obituary, which states his date of birth a few days later.

RE: LTC Thomas Alcock
Dear Lon,

from my researches, the memorial stone is "Inside" the church, not in the churchyard:

His nephew places a memorial stone to him in the church dedicated to St Andrew that he builds at Kingswood: 'The other memorial, on the north wall of the chancel, is dedicated to Lieut. Col. Thomas Alcock, who at an advanced age was asked by his nephew to lay the first stone of St. Andrew's in 1848 and was still there to celebrate its consecration 4 years later. Note at the bottom of the memorial the impaled arms of Alcock and St Leger'.

So it's the Church, not the churchyard. Do you want still for me to correct the memorial?

Elisa
