Bio and Links
Bio Photo It never ceases to amaze me how many people visit or create memorials for deceased people but balk at having a picture of a piece of paper that says someone has died.....?? Just saying!

I started doing research on my family tree around 1995 with my grandmother Dennis.

If you need edits to a memorial I have created please PER FAG...POST DOCUMENTATION SUPPORTING YOUR EDIT REQUEST FIRST and then please use the "EDIT" tab.

As of February 2014 I am currently taking pictures of all the graves in Seaford Odd Fellows Cemetery so that I can enter them on FAG. After I enter everything I will go back and check for duplicates and any other problems. Thanks!

My favorite epitaphs:

Marion Michael Morrison (a.k.a. John Wayne):

Today is the most important thing in life
Comes into us at midnight very clean
It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands,
It hopes we've learned something from yesterday.

Godfrey Beamguard:

Adieu all both far and near, my loving wife and children, For my immortal soul has fled, I now lie numbered with the dead. Remember friends as you pass by, As you are now, so once was I, As I am now, so you must be, Prepare for death and follow me."

John and Jane Burton...
Thanks for the photos of their tombstones! I was wondering if you knew what does the "CM" on John's tombstone his middle initials (two middle names)? Asking cause the same "CM" is on his son's (Gideon) death record. Or does the "CM" mean something else in genealogy? Thanks again! :)

Hi. I was wondering where you got his (and Jane's) death date from? Are they on their tombstones? FYI: think the inscription of his age at time of death was 82 years of age. He's on my family tree. He was born abt 1793 or 1794. Thanks. :)

Joseph and Martha Everngam
Martha was born in Ohio - she is buried in Concord Cemetery. The one stone is a older faded stone and a newer stone was put up with both names on it.

Ralph and Enollie are the same graves - when I did a n initial search - the last name was spelled differently so nothing popped up - when I put them in then whoever owns the other pages changed the last name. So they match. I'd be thrilled if they could be combined - they are both the same.

O'Neil family
Thanks for the recent edit that you submitted linking Bessie O'Neal Orem to her parents. In checking the source I found additional information that you may want to include in her parents' memorials. I have submitted edits for the memorials of Bessie's parents. Father's first name is John. Mother's maiden name is Cannon. Both of them were born in Laurel, Sussex Co. I found this from a delayed birth certificate #16691 for Bessie. Interesting is that in 1955 Sadie had remarried and was given as Sadie O'Neal Lewis on the affidavit swearing that information about Bessie's birth was correct. It looks like her second husband had her buried with the first husband and omitted the name change. It seems like that might often be the case after a second marriage. It makes the children of the first family happier too. I can send the delayed certificate to you if you want. I found it through ancestry.com.

Odd Fellows Cemetery
Hi Laura - It was pointed out to me that there is only the one Odd Fellows Cemetery in Kent not the one that I gave for Elizabeth Voshell - I did correct it. Thank you! Catherine
