Bio and Links
Bio Photo My grandmother was the first person to interest me in genealogy with all her old family photos and scrapbooks full of newspaper articles. I remember picking the peonies from her garden and then visiting the cemeteries to place them on gravestones.

This fern peony was grown and nurtured in Rosalie Haymond's garden. After her passing, the peony now has a place of honor in our garden. This peony is now placed on graves out of respect and in remembrance of our ancestors.

There is a special place in my heart for all the infants and children that are the only member/s of their family to be buried at a particular cemetery. Find a Grave is a wonderful way to reconnect these children with their parents and families.

As a way to give back and help other searching families, we walk small cemeteries and then add the names that aren't already on Find a Grave. I photograph all the stones and add the photos to the memorials that are missing photos.

If you are related, we would very much like to hear from you. If we have a memorial for one of your loved ones, please contact us by clicking the edit tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial and then clicking the suggest a correction link to ask for a transfer. Let us know your connection.

Thank you so much for the obituary. I have one question to make sure I give proper credit (T-G) which paper is this?

Also thanks for the picture! So greatly appreciated and love finding Find A Grave friends like you!

If you would like me to put flowers on the site, please let me know. I too have family at this cemetery so it would be no trouble.

I would be glad to help take pictures of those you have requested. The office only allows me to get 3 requests per day. They charge for more than that. So, if you could call the cemetery and get the plot location and post it along with your request, or better yet, send me a message, I will be happy to go take photos for you.

I transferred Ervin's memorial to you, as I think it is nice to keep married couples together. I really should have taken an overall picture of the room. Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum is an absolutely beautiful building, with the gated family rooms that are so special. Even the standard crypts and niches are lovely. I have many family members entombed and inured there. It is the first place the out of town relatives visit when they come to Saginaw.
