I began researching my family when I was in high school. The families I have been researching include: Neece, Buntley, Eslick, Hendrickson and most recently Arnold and Edde. My search has taken me to Missouri by car and California by internet. It is very interesting to me to hear the stories that are told about my family that I never had the chance to meet. Cemeteries have always been intriguing to me. Growing up on our family farm we had two on our property. I guess that is really what got me into researching my family's history. I hope that if anyone reads this and recognizes any of these family names, you will email me. I would love to hear from you. I live in Fayetteville, TN and work in Huntsville, AL so if you live away from these areas and need pictures of any family stones, I probably have them and would be glad to get them to you.
Neece Gina enjoyed your story. I am formally Carol Neece. My father was Carroll Neece and his father was Herman B Neece, Moses's son. Herman married Pearl Carroll from Florida and they settled in Norfolk,Va where my father Carroll and my family grew up. My father Carroll Neece married Lucy Brock who was from Fayette, AL.Lucy came to Norfolk during WW II to work at the military bases where her brothers were stationed. There are many Brock's in Fayette, Al. I have been researching the NEECE name for several years because of the unusual spelling. Not sure of the name origin and have found many different possible countries it may have originated. Thanks for all you help in tracing the Neece family.
Great great grandfather Gina Thanks for the photo. Moses is my great great grandfather. His son Herman B. Neece is my grandfather. Herman is buried in Forest Lawn cemetery in Norfolk, Va with his wife my grandmother Pearl Carroll Neece. I am from Norfolk and I am the daughter of Carroll Neece, Herman's son.

Simon Jasper Hendrickson Hi Gina, Sorry for my impatience. Even the slightest hint of where the names "Ira Hendrickson" and "Williams" came from would be helpful to me. I know that "Ira" can be a nickname for "Israel". I would be so appreciative of any information you can provide.
Simon Jasper Hendrickson Hi Gina, I'm looking for information on the parents of Simon Jasper Hendrickson who are listed as Ira Hendrickson and unknown Williams. Any help you can provide is appreciated.
Ashby Warden Groce Cemetery Gina, do you have any info on location of the subject cemetery? The GPS info on web is incorrect, we've ben there. One uncertainty is in which end of Creason Hollow it is located - the end as you enter the hollow from Gimlet or all the way back. Thanks, Jim
Ida May Buntley Gina, I am hoping to get all of the children of William Hudson Ashby linked to his memorial. Would you please link Ida May Ashby Buntley to her father and his second wife, Ellen E. Ashby? I sent a correction request with the memorial numbers in it. Thanks.
RE: Neece Family Hi Gina ~ thank you so much for responding to my message. Was very happy and excited to receive your response. My lineage goes as following: Henry Neas (Neece), John Neece, Robert Newton Neece, James Ellis Neece, Sherman Neece, Mildred Prudence Neece, Carl Henry Nelson to Angela Nelson Smith. Can't seem to find a lot of info on Sherman Neece. Was told, by my Dad, that he was a Champion Fiddler in the state of Missouri. Yet, I can't come up with any documentation. John Neece was my 4th Great-Grandfather. Looking forward to hearing from you.
