As I am sure, everyone that has lost
a child, knows that losing a Child, No Matter What Age,
is the hardest thing a person
will ever face in this Life.
You NEVER get OVER it,
just THROUGH it with GOD'S help!
I know I certainly could not
be making this journey without
the help of GOD!!!!

~~~TRAGEDIES OF LIFE~~~
Tragedies do take a toll on our
lives in more ways than one!
They affect our very existence.
Our minds our bodies.
Tragedies cause lots of stress,
whether we realize it or not.
Stress is an awful enemy
of both mind and body.
A tragedy of any nature
we live with ALL our lives.
There is no worse Tragedy
in ones life, than losing
a child. May God truly bless
those that have loss loved ones,
including; Mothers, Fathers,
Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles,
Neices, Nephews, Cousins,
Grandparents as well as Friends.
And ESPECIALLY those that have
lost a CHILD OF ANY AGE!
**************************************************
We also have Three Beautiful
Granddaughters that we Dearly Love.
1) *Morgan Taylor
2) *Josie AnnaMarie
3) *Jorja Leigh
They are the result of our
Third Son Buddy Ray's Family.
They have certainly made
Our Lives Worth Living Again.
While one Child can NEVER
take the place of another,
God never closes one door
without opening another.
And God is always there
willing to help us with
our burdens if we let him!
~~~GOD HATH NOT PROMISED~~~
God has not promised skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways,
all our lives through.
God has not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.
But God has promised strength for the day,
Rest for the laborer, light for the way;
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love!
**************************************************
~~~A THOUGHT TO PONDER~~~
LOGIC tells us that death
is the end. BUT, FAITH
tells us it is the BEGINNING.
**************************************************
~~~WHAT IS FAITH?~~~
Faith is the Substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
~Beginning Hebrews Chapter 11.

~~~A FAVORITE BIBLE SCRIPTURE OF MINE~~~
Let not your heart be troubled,
Ye, believe in God, Believe also in ME.
In MY FATHER'S HOUSE are Many Mansions,
If it were NOT so I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you,
And if I go and prepare a place for you~
I will come again and receive you unto MYSELF,
That where I am, there you may be also!
~Beginning of St. John Chapter 14.
**************************************************
~~~THE BIBLE PLAINLY TELLS US
THERE IS A SEASON FOR EVERYTHING~~~
A time to be born
A Time to Die
A time to Love
A Time to hate
All about a time for everything
under the sun!
~~~Beginning in Ecclesiastes Chapter 3
**************************************************
This life is just a whisper and then
it is gone. I choose to believe
there is life after earthly death!
RE: My Grandfather Jim
I was at his house staying for the day while my father was at work. He tripped and fell over his walker and broke his leg. He was taken to Vanderbilt where he got pneumonia. His injury was the beginning of a decline in his health. I would love some copies of photos that you may have. I have a formal photo of him in his uniform and a photo of him working at his shoe repair shop in Madison that he owned after my father was born. My dad is a spitting image of him I must say. I always knew him as a loving grandfather, but my father swears he was the most strict by the book parent. I am so glad I found you on here! It always seemed to me that my father's side of the family was a bit blurry.
RE: My Grandfather Jim
I wish so desperately that I could've known that side of the family. He spoke highly of his family. I was told not long after he died that he had come home from the service to find that Gertrude had met another man. Whether that is true or not I will never know. I do know that he and Minnie were two of a kind. She lost her battle with cancer in 1991, but I hear she was a lovely Irish woman. My father spoke once of wishing he could've known Pat and Jerry. Thank you so much for all the answers you have given me! I am very appreciative!
RE: My Grandfather Jim
My grandmother is Minnie Clackler. She and Jim (or Bud as you call him) had my three aunts Martha, Carolyn, and Linda, and then my father James R. Freeman Jr. and my uncle Daniel Ray. I never knew Minnie as she died before I was born. I have an older brother named James Freeman as well. He was named after my grandfather and father to carry on the line of James Freeman's. I was 7 years old when my Papa died, but I remember him very well. I just wish I could've asked him more about his past. I was so young, and I took for granted my time with him.
My Grandfather Jim
Becky,
I have been doing some research on my family, and I am so happy to have finally found something. The man you refer to in pictures as Uncle "Bud" James Freeman is my grandfather. He was and is to this day my greatest hero. I was there when he sustained the injury that ultimately lead to his death. He is my inspiration for all that I do. To find these pictures you have posted is like filling a small part of the large void that was created when we lost him. I had never seen these pictures before, and I am so grateful that you posted them. Is there anything you can tell me about him that I may not know. There is such a limited amount of information on him before he met my grandmother and I knew very little about his younger life. Also, if you have any pictures of him I would LOVE to see some. I have a son of my own and he looks so much like my Papa that it's scary. My son is a true Freeman, and I want so desperately for him to know who his great grandfather was. Thank you again for posting these pictures and in advance for any answers you can give me.
