|Please CLICK on the 330 PHOTOS for more history and information about the people. After reading the caption CLICK on the photo again, and then slowly again to enlarge. Then click on F11 for a full screen view.|
The 330 photos include everybody I have worked with including people I can not enter data on but have attached a photo and a little family data is entered in the CAPTION.
I maintain approximately 120 Memorial sites mentioned to the right. Since on other sites somebody else put a photo of the grave they are maintaining the site even though they do not even know the family and my information is limited to a few lines attached to a photo(s) I have entered.
Families related to me that I am presently researching are:
1713 - 1936 HAWTHORNE
Ca 1820 - 1900 DURBIN, McVAY, ULREY, and Richardson of the Wapello and Jefferson Co., Iowa, area
Ca 1820 - 1870 REID, REED, LIVELY, and Tilson of the Washington and Smyth Co. VA area
Ca 1875 - 1930 SRB and SKALA of Dodge Co., Nebraska
Ca 1875 - 1930 SABATA, COUFAL, and ZAK of Butler Co., Nebraska
Other families I am researching:
Ca 1780 - 1820 ANNAN of Lancaster Co., PA
Ca 1800 - 1830 EVANS of Washington Co., VA
Ca 1800 - 1830 Stewart / Stuart of Butler Co., OH
Non-related families that I have interesting data about:
1850s David Ralston/Rolston in Ohio - 1853 Christmas Letter
1850 - 1880 Talbert of Shelby Co., Indiana
1880 - 1900 Stewart of Hamilton / Clay Co., Nebraska
1880s Willhoite, Landon, Shannon and Dunn from Connecticut, Illinois, and Pierson, IA area - photos
MY HAWTHORNE FAMILY RESEARCH 1713 - 1936
Since the 1960s I have been interested in the history of the Hawthorne family. During the 1970s I cassette recorded some of the history of my grandmother Effie Hawthorne Talbert Hultquist, and my great Aunt Blanche Hawthorne Slife and her husband Sewell. My serious Hathorn (Hawthorne) research began in 1979, including at Salt Lake City. In 1981 I did Hawthorne genealogical research in the Ottumwa, Iowa area.

|Jennifer Annan House||Robert Annan|
Hi Jack -
Reverend Robert Annan is my 5th great grandfather and one of my immigrant ancestors. I wonder if you have any information regarding his third wife, Philuthia. After Elizabeth Hathorn died in 1813, he remarried sometime between then and April, 1816, the date of his last will and testament. I can't find any information about Philuthia. Any guidance you could provide would be very much appreciated! Thank you ! Jennifer Annan House

Her first name was Della.
You can find her listed as Della V Fye on the 1895 Iowa census. She is listed as 17 years old, born in Keokuk Co. Residence in 1895 is listed as Ollie;Jackson, Keokuk, Iowa.
|J Baldwin||Lavinah Floyd 77791380|
You have a picture of her tombstone which states that she is a wife of someone. In front there is a much smaller stone with the name William M Winslow 1873-1878, you said you didn't know if related. William Floyd and his wife moved west from Ohio. A daughter Hannah S. married Ezra Winslow and had according to the 1900 census 5 children and only 2 alive. I would guess that might be the relationship to Lavinah as a grandchild. Oh was there another name on that tall stone opposite Lavinah?
|Joyce Worthington Brewer||Margaret Radenbough|
I am interested in contacting the sexton of the Greenwood cemetery and wondering If someone might know who this is and have a phone number or e-mail address that I can get in contact with this person.
I see Henry & Margaret Radenbough stone present but unable to see any reading on it. Also this person should have a record of the cemetery as to who is buried and date of death etc.
Need to find the actual death date so I can find her obituary in a newspaper there. I live in Illinois so. Its not possible to drive there.Thanks so much -even if you can help a little.
