McCaw in Bethesda Cemetery

I have read that John McCaw is buried in Bethesda Cemetery in York County SC. Do you remember seeing any grave that might be his? He is related to the Brattons by a pedigree I found. John McCaw is suppose to be a distant grandfather.

Thank you

RE: Thanks!
It is the same tomb as her husband. The first part is just an epitaph starting "From solemn tombs the alarm is given...."
But the last part that is a little more interesting is - "This marble is erected by the children in mournful testimony of their affection and respect for their deceased parents Col. William Bratton & Martha Bratton." I will email you a picture of it. I did take one.
Glad I could help!

my Iowa family
I just want to thank you again for taking those photos...I am so grateful. I've never been able to find Celestia's husband who obviously died many many years before she did so it was wonderful to find out she had lived with her daughter. I have a letter from my great granduncle who mentioned she had come to see him while he was in camp at Rockford, IL during the Civil War.

Celestia Adams
Can you read her age at death on the headstone inscription?

Thank you so much for taking these photos.

Esther Reed in Laurel Hill
She shares the same tombstone as her husband, Joseph Reed. To see her marker, just go to his page.

Thanks so much for the photos you took of my relatives' grave stones in the Craig Cemetery, Michael Kennedy, Lucinda Kennedy, William Clark, and Mary Clark. These are my direct relatives and I live a long way from Nebraska. I appreciate the time and effort you put forth on my behalf.

Hannah Anderson
Thank you for getting the photos of Swen and Hannah Anderson. I didn't have Hannah's maiden name until I saw your photo. Thank you. It is so good to have these favors returned and your willingness to volunteer for this project is much appreciated.
