|Russ Marti||RE: Help|
I am looking for the place of burial for a William Schrumpf who died at his home in Wayne on 18 Jun 1928, also his wife Jennie nee Workman. I created a memorial for him 139995408 but have no place of burial. I have his obit this was published in his home town paper in Highland IL, but it only states the services were held at his home under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge.
Thanks Russ Marti
Any chance you live in the Wayne NE area, I am trying to locate someone who died and is buried in that area.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to photograph these stones. They are my bosses family and I did his family tree for Christmas, and will present it to him tonight, so you had perfect timing!!
It was a great day to photograph cemeteries yesterday. My friend and I went out and photographed 2 cemeteries.
Thanks for all the new photos, Brad!

Surprisingly, both of my parents, and all of my grandparents and great-grandparents are from the Knox, Pierce, Wayne and surrounding county areas. I currently have over 65,000 people connected in my family tree. If you are rooted in the area, possibly even you! I don't get back there but once a year at best, so I really appreciate your work in the area. May I have your permission to use your photos on Ancestry.com?

Thank you so much for the excellent detective work that solved the mystery of Louis's gravestone location. I truly appreciate each and every photo you have taken. I know they are not easy to find. Sorry for the delay on the thank you. I hope all is well with you and yours.

Heh Brad, just checking in, hope you had a good summer, It looks like someone has been busy taking photos at St. Wen's which is great, I am almost done adding the 1930 WPA Survey, have received numerous requests for more info, and some corrections, but heh that's part of the fun....best wishes, DC/Gilly

THANKS! I saw some examples recently where someone used a detachable flash for some pretty fantastic results. Headstones can be a real challenge!

I appreciate this--and also I thank you for the "flower" you added (that is now in my scrapbook too). It was kind of sad that his mother died just a few days after he did.

|Jane Marie Morrison||RE: Elisabeth Hochstein|
I sent to Hartington Library for her obituary but I have NO doubt that Elizabeth (Foerster) Hochstein is the wife of Joseph Hochstein
and that the biography was incorrect. I also changed her name from Elizabeth to Elisabeth. The 1880 census has her name as Elisabeth.
My Elisabeth was born June 15, 1840 and died September 5, 1904.
Thanks so much!!!
