Bio Photo As long as we remember our ancestors in our hearts, they are always with us.....

Even though they are in a different place, they are still a part of our lives, let us not forget the ones who have gone before us.

Surnames: Eltiste, Kaiser, Fink, Rohrs, Bohling, Torbeck, Hoy, Hermenet, Boise and Shively, Kissinger, Loucks, Hoover and many more.

If anyone has any questions about memorials I have created, or wants to send me Additions/Correction/Deletions or would like a transfer. PLEASE, Just send us a note using the "EDIT" Tab, and I will get back to you as soon as we can.

Thank You and
Happy Hunting!!!
Kathy

You are very welcome. One of Paul's relatives, a Duey, married a Kutz. I am trying to get thru a lot of obits I copied while we were back in Cumberland County. Only wish we could have stayed longer....sigh.

RE: Charles Albright
If you have access to Ancestry or are a Pennsylvania resident you can look at his death certificate yourself (along with other PA death certificates from 1906 to 1944): http://www.portal.state.pa.us/

If you don't I can send it to you.

RE: Barbara Hoy
Hi Kathy, Sorry, I forgot that Old Elias is included in the records of "Mifflinburg Cemetery". But when your standing in the cemetery you can certainly tell that it's a distinct cemetery even though it borders others. There are three cemeteries on the west side of the street and two on the east, but they all run together and are listed as simply Mifflinburg Cemetery on find-a-grave.

Barbara Hoy
Hi Kathy, I'm glad to transfer Barbara's memorial to you, but since I don't know for sure if a stone still exists for her, I would like to ask that you keep the note naming Mrs. Bartol as the source, at least until someone posts a photo of her stone. Many of the stones she transcribed are no longer standing and her record is all to often the only source for the burial. On a side note there are quite a few Hoy's buried at Old Elias Union Church Cemetery in Mifflinburg, PA and Barbara most likely fits into that family somehow. Thanks.

RE: Frederick Reuben Benton
Julia Benton is buried in the same graveyard as Frederick Reuben Benton. I have since documented their relationships through death certificates and obituaries. In fact, their ancestor is Johan Simon Clar (Claar) a Revolutionary War soldier. I have recently applied for membership in the Sons of the American Revolution.

RE: Michael Reiter
Thanks for adding the link to Capt. Ream's.

No need to transfer the memorial as I have no knowledge of being related to him. Just an interesting coincidence of names that my sister discovered.

Thanks,
Mike
