Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a second generation native of California, but my roots go deep into New England via the Midwest and Great Plains. (Genealogy and family history figure large in my interests.)

I grew up with a view of Glen Abbey Memorial Park, and my siblings and I roamed its grounds when we could. Although none of my family is buried there, I feel a kind of ownership of that place!

I like to take multiple photos in Glen Abbey Memorial Park, to give a feel for the place where people are buried. If I have posted more photographs than you would prefer on a memorial of one of your loved ones, let me know your preferences. On the other hand, if I have only posted a photo of the marker and you would like something more, let me know that, and I will take more photos or add something I already have for that area of the cemetery.

You may contact me at jfgilman at gmail or by a message here.

Hi Jane. The pics look great, cropped nice and tight for good for easy reading. Nice of you to help me with my tree.

Thanks...I have some newspaper articles on the Dale Family from my genealogybank.com subscription. If anyone wants to see them, I need an email address. Carol

Mary Elizabeth Whaley Andrews Blewett
Thank you for your interest in the way I had listed the name of my great-great grandmother Mary Elizabeth Whaley Andrews Blewett. I have edited the name and it now reads Mary Elizabeth Whaley (maiden name) Blewett (2nd husband's name). Since little is known about her first husband (my ancestor) I had included his surname as part of her surname hoping to attract the attention of others who might be researching the family.

Thank you,
Kathie Miller Sarchet

RE: Ruth & John Dale
Ruth M. Dale 1896-1995=Masonic Annex Extension, Lot 108, Grave 6.

John Stephen Dale 1894-1926=Masonic,Lot 69, Grave 8.

The Office will give you a map. There are three different sections of "Masonic" and the numbering system is complicated, and the # hubs are mostly illegible! Sorry, Carol

Ruth & John Dale
They are in a section that I can never find the people due to a poor map, and I spend a lot of time and energy, without success. Would you like me to 'open' them for another photo volunteer, or give you the plot locations, so you can go find them?
