I live in Minnesota, born and raised, and have always had a deep interest in genealogy. This is what first brought about my interest in cemeteries and taking pictures of headstones. I started by taking the pictures of my grandparents' graves as well as their parents and their siblings, then it gradually grew bigger and bigger. I now look for people I either know personally, someone I can connect back to someone I know personally or someone of special importance or significance; I work on it as a hobby in my spare time and am now working on my 6th photo album of headstone pictures. People who have a findagrave memorial and whose headsontes I also happen to have in my collection I have uploaded. I hope to be able to communicate with others who live elsewhere and can get pictures of other headstones I cannot reach due to the distance.|

I'm afraid I don't have any information that might help in your search.

Your suggestion via the edit tab prompted a call to the cemetery office where all things were cleared up. Thanks for that and for the photos.

I have removed the photo from the memorial page of Charles Rath. Before I moved the photo to his memorial I did check your bio to see if you had any instructions about me doing that. Your name belongs under the photo. I wish Find A Grave had it set up so when we move photos (which they allow us to do) the photograper's name stays with the photo Thank you for noticing and taking care of it.

Did you inform the contributor(s) or Find A Grave as to where they are buried? I saw that you posted photos of their headstones and was curious if their burial dispositons were going to be changed if they now know the location of burial.

Where did you photograph John L Nelson's stone?
