RE: Abbie G Beal Howard & Ambrose
You're welcome :)

Thank you for leaving the virtual flowers for Ida Volinsky. She was my great grandmother. I tried to find her grave several years ago, but Mt Zion wasn't very helpful. It makes me sad to think about great grandma Ida's resting place and what's become of it. I've been working on my family tree for a couple of months.

Thanking a contributor
I would like to thank the person or persons who so kindly went to a cemetery and sent a photo. However the message to thank this person is not clickable on my email. I have tried everything. Please have them personally send me a message to my email so I can send thanks.

RE: Minnie Judelowitz
You're welcome! It was my pleasure to do it. I felt she deserved it after having to wait so long for her name plaque to be placed.

On another note, the name of Mt. Zion caught my eye regarding the exchange of messages on your page. I looked at the link that was given to you by Craig Blyeth. Wow that it is so sad to see a cemetery in such shambles. There is a small group of us working on photographing Woodlawn in Compton and it had previously been embroiled in legal problems but now has a new owner and is coming along quite nicely. Toppled uprights are getting reset, gophers are being eliminated, etc. I hope someday that Mt. Zion will receive the TLC it deserves.

If there is anything else I can do for you at Hillside, just let me know.

Take care,

Mimi etc.
Sue, thank you for adding the photos and doing such great work on the Mount Zion archive. I saw in the paper today that they will be renovating starting next week. I tried the link to email you on your website, but it's not working. You may want your techie dude to check it.

RE: Pfc Schallmoser
I posted the individual photos. I did not take a group picture, but will try to remember to do that the next time I get out to St Joseph's.

RE: Pfc Schallmoser
You are welcome. There are a couple more Schallmoser's next to Pfc Schallmoser. They are: Frank, Sept 26, 1896 - Jan 26, 1980 and Magdalena, Aug 21, 1891 - Jan 18, 1975. If you would like pictures for these as well, please create memorials and let me know.
