I have always taken an interest in family tree histories. My father was an avid fan of Find a Grave and he introduced me to this site before he passed away in 2008. Find A Grave Memorial# 46644773. I am happy to be a photo volunteer for much of the Los Angeles area!|
You can feel free to use creative commons with the photos I take if you'd like to use them in your genealogy or family history projects. Unless they are in my Virtual Family Cemetery, THEN I HAVE NO INFORMATION ON THE PEOPLE OF THE MEMORIALS THAT I MAINTAIN OTHER THAN THEIR BURIAL LOCATION.
I LOVE to find relatives and homes for the memorials I manage, so IF you see a memorial you'd like TRANSFERRED, I'm more then happy to do so, just put in the request via the "EDIT" option. (Will transfer ANY except those in my Family Virtual Cemetery). ***Also, to expedite edits please use the EDIT tab that Find a Grave has recently provided in the upper right hand corner of all memorials. "Suggested corrections" should be used for transfer requests or other edits that are not options under the EDIT tab.***
Please note, when listing random memorials, I often try to link families together to the best of my ability, using my judgment and common sense. So, I imagine some of the relationship links I have created may not be accurate and I'm always happy to update or change if you can help.
Please do not send me requests to change the entry of MAIDEN name for Males whose name origin indicates that they are LATINO. This name is often their mother's maiden name and used for lineage purposes. Maybe a suggestion would be for Find A Grave to add an entry space for this.
My family lines are Schmidt/Wassem and Johnsen/Hale. My husband's family lines are Alves/Carvalho and Bacellar/Huet.

Hi again -
Sorry, just one correction to the story below. It was Matthew Elmer Boylan's father Michael Boylan, at Find A Grave page number 122187370, whose grave was moved from Chillicothe to Peoria in 1929.
Matthew Elmer Boylan was one of the many children of Michael Boylan.
The name in the 1956 hand transcribed record of St Joseph's Mooney Cemetery gravesites could have in fact have been Michael instead of Matthew as I stated above, as the transcribers had difficulty reading the degraded paper record.

Do you happen to be related to Matthew Elmer Boylan at page number 85852640 ?
I saw that you had taken ownership of his page, so I thought maybe there was a chance.
I descend from Boylans of Chillicothe. Matthew's Find A Grave memorial page bio states that his gravesite was transferred from Chillicothe to Peoria in 1929. This is a very interesting clue, since the only Boylans in Chillicothe were my mother's ancestors: greatgrandfather Patrick O'Boylan, and Irish immigrant who arrived in Chillicothe in 1840, and his sons Thomas, Charles, and John, who all raised their families in Chillicothe (they shortened the O'Boylan name to just Boylan).
From an 1890 Who's Who biography of local businessmen published in 1890, we know that there was a 4th child of Patrick, deceased by 1890 (so could have died as a child or adult).
We also know from plat maps that an M. Boylan was farming land right next to the 3 Boylan brothers.
In a 1956 hand transcribed record of the burials at the tiny St Josephs Mooney Cemetery on West Rome Rd just outside Chillicothe, there is listed a Matthew Boylan - but the transcribers had a hard time reading the degraded paper record, so there are no dates. Could this be the gravesite that was moved in 1929 ?
Even if you are not related, I would appreciate any records you may have of Matthew Elmer Boylan's descendants through the many children he has listed on his Find A Grave memorial page.
Thanks much for any help ~

I don't see any way to change that option short of deleting and reuploading the obit. But I don't have the obit any longer. I also don't see anything in the record that displays "grave" or "marker" for the image of the obit that anyone would be able to see by looking at the record.

Carolyn Thanks for all the great work you do. You have put up Samuel J Nigrelli's info 1903-1971 and under his Grave looks like Ruth M Nigrelli maybe buried 1911-1998.Do you have anyway to find out info on Ruth's daughter Marjorie Ruth Bowman Born 1-29-1931 Death ? I cannot find anything on Marjorie (Margie was her nickname)after the 1940 census. I do know Ruth her mother married Samuel Nigrelli in the 40's after divorcing Marjorie's father Albert Ronald Bowman and Samuel died in 71. Ruth then married an Alfred Berry in 1977. But no matter how much I dig I cannot find what happened to Marjorie. Did she die young ? Was she married ? Is she still living? Did she have kids. Any help would be great. ThankYou

I have two relatives buried in Mount Sinai Memorial Park. I was wondering if you would be able to take pictures of their graves? Their names are Elsie Zeeve and Louis Israel Zeeve. I would really appreciate it.
|S. Segall||David F. Martin|
I sent you an email regarding David Martin and I have now corrected my omission.
This is all still new to me. :-)
|DrTeva||Lola Donly Chapman|
Yesterday I sent you a request to link Lola with what I believed to be her husband (Walter Julian) and daughter (Jane Julian). I have since determined that this woman cannot be the Lola D. Chapman whom Walter married in St. Louis in 1915, because I find Walter and his wife Lola, with daughter Jane, in 1910--but I also find Lola Donly Chapman with her birth family in 1910, and she is listed as single. All the other information I provided about Lola Donly is correct.
I will be happy to break the connection between your record and those of Walter and Jane Julian, but I wanted to explain why I was sending you those corrections before I did so. Or, feel free to break the links yourself if that is easier.
Best wishes and thanks for your hard work,
