I have always taken an interest in family tree histories. My father was an avid fan of Find a Grave and he introduced me to this site before he passed away in 2008. Find A Grave Memorial# 46644773. I am happy to be a photo volunteer for much of the Los Angeles area!|
You can feel free to use creative commons with the photos I take if you'd like to use them in your genealogy or family history projects. Unless they are in my Virtual Family Cemetery, THEN I HAVE NO INFORMATION ON THE PEOPLE OF THE MEMORIALS THAT I MAINTAIN OTHER THAN THEIR BURIAL LOCATION.
I LOVE to find relatives and homes for the memorials I manage, so IF you see a memorial you'd like TRANSFERRED, I'm more then happy to do so, just put in the request via the "EDIT" option. (Will transfer ANY except those in my Family Virtual Cemetery). ***Also, to expedite edits please use the EDIT tab that Find a Grave has recently provided in the upper right hand corner of all memorials. "Suggested corrections" should be used for transfer requests or other edits that are not options under the EDIT tab.***
Please note, when listing random memorials, I often try to link families together to the best of my ability, using my judgment and common sense. So, I imagine some of the relationship links I have created may not be accurate and I'm always happy to update or change if you can help.
Please do not send me requests to change the entry of MAIDEN name for Males whose name origin indicates that they are LATINO. This name is often their mother's maiden name and used for lineage purposes. Maybe a suggestion would be for Find A Grave to add an entry space for this.
My family lines are Schmidt/Wassem and Johnsen/Hale. My husband's family lines are Alves/Carvalho and Bacellar/Huet.

Darn. I was just hoping that you might have her in your family. I know that Rose was living in the LA area when her brother Wm. P. Alt died in 1967. That is when the family lost touch with Rose & her family. Charles Sr., Pearl, Charles Jr., & Jean Schmidt. If you could keep a look out for them & Please let me know. Thank you

Thanks for accepting all those edits for Mary Sinnett Lucha. Finding her was a fun but long research journey. :-)
I saw your photos for Oscar and Wilma Jorgensen, and Wilma's mother Viola Bock.
My great grandmother was Laura Bock Baker from Pennsylvania. She had a sister who was Wilma Grace (Bock) Jorgensen. I did not know this until a random google search turned up an obituary notice posted here in PA. The obit mentioned Wilma having a daughter. I was wondering if in your maintaining this site, you have contact for any of the Jorgensens?
Thanks for reply, the reason I asked, was because of your picture of Nellie Wasson on Find A Grave
