M. S. Van Deventer, buried in St. George Church Cemetery, Astoria, Queens Co., NY is Margaret S. Van Deventer, daughter of William H. & Sarah M. Van Deventer.

Obit for Sarah:
9 Dec 1918-Sarah VAN DEVENTER, widow of William H. VAN DEVENTER, died yesterday at her home, 1323 Bedford avenue. She was born in Astoria seventy years ago(1848) and had been a resident of Brooklyn for forty years. She is survived by a
son, William, and a daughter, Margaret S. Funeral services will be held to-morrow at 2 P.M. at her late home. Interment at St. Georges Churchyard, Astoria.
