RE: Palmer
Hi Donna:

Thank you for the Palmer family edits. My line goes like this:

Freeman Truman Palmer (1721) is my 5th GGF
his son:
Nathanial Palmer (1773) is my 4th GGF
his daughter:
Millie Palmer Fitzgerald (1801, Columbia Co, GA) is my 3rd GGMother. (James Palmer who married Mary Collins is Millie's cousin)

How are you related?

transfer request
Hi Donna,

I should've have noticed this sooner, but I realized you had another of my ancestors in your Oak Hill collection.

Pansy Pearl Bradford, 114694125, is my granny's mother. I'd be happy to take ownership of that one if you would transfer her to me.

Martha Jones
Elcana Creed Spivey
Donna, I am Martha Jane Jones, the granddaughter of Elcana Creed Spivey. I would like for you to transfer my grandfather's Find a Grave memorial to me.
I have been researching for almost 3 years now and I too am addicted to finding my ancestors. Just recently decided to become a Find A Grave member and noticed that I could have his memorial transferred to me.
I have just edited my grandmother Sallie E Carter and am waiting to hear back from Find A Grave.
Hoping to hear from you.

Luranah (Teague) Summers #69085680
The spouse of William Summers (1756-1823) has been corrected from Susannah to Luranah. If you are a relative, please see her Find A Grave memorial for new info of interest about her.

RE: Vera June Meen
No offense to me. Just thinking of the families and how Find A Grave has specifically addressed this issue. I admire the work you've done and as I do mine, I'm dedicated to keep Find A Grave rules and remembers those we've lost. It may seem silly but when I post a tribute, I try to find family members to add so they won't seem so alone especially in death.

Worley England #103272088
Donna--HELLO--I am working the England cemetery in England Valley, Scott co.VA

Worley England #103272088 has been identified as a son of John and Martha England(through his sister's obit) My England family tree is something I am very passionate about and was hoping you would consider transferring Worley to my care.

Gary DAUGHERTY(recovering from quadruple heart bypass) and I are working together in humping these hills of Scott co. looking for our ancestors AND the ENGLAND have direct ties to my TYREE-VANZANT in Robinette Valley.

Thank you for your consideration.

Long Black Veil
RE: Long black veil

These are not my rules, but Find a Grave rules. I understand what you are saying " many times a death date may not be added to a stone when a person died". Find a Grave has ask more than one person to delete any memorials they have listed if a person was born after 1931, and no death was listed on the stone.

Lots and lots of people now are making all their arrangements before death, including the setting of their stone. Why we find so many stones with no death date when photographs larger cemeteries.

We can only hope and I'm sure they will be listed after their death.

Thank you for all your time and the work you do on Find A Grave
