RE: James Lowthers
I had a quick look at our local records.

There was just one James Lowthers died in Glasgow in 1927.
He was age 71.

There is a James Lowthers listed in the census forms for Glasgow for 1901 and 1911 but there is NO James Lowthers listed on any Scotland census forms that I can see for 1871 or 1881.

He married Alice G Jordan in August 1896. He was a widower when they married. On their marriage cert his name is written as 'Louther'

His occupation is listed on the census forms as Free stone quarry man (same occupation as his father who was also James).

All the above is of course subject to my checking the 'right' James Lowthers, but the only other one I could see for Glasgow was born in 1911.

Don't know if any of the above helps.

RE: James Lowthers
Well now that's interesting! How amazing would that be if it was indeed him!

RE: James Lowthers
Hi there

sorry that our photo is clearly not for the James Lowthers you are looking for. I guess it must be another Eastwood Cemetery.

RE: Ed and Dorthy Beardsley memorials #62346319 and #62346321
Normally it is up to the creator of the duplicated memorials to work with the creator of the original memorials to resolve the situation and get the duplicates removed per Find A Grave policy. That said, I have sent a note to the original creator asking that he (or she) work with you to get this corrected.

Thank you.
