I've been doing family research for a few years now and have been really enjoying it. FAG has been a wonderful tool. My main line of research has focused on John L. and Hester Ann Smith from Lee County TX. By connecting my direct lineage to them, I have proudly become a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
I am also researching the following ancestors: On my paternal side: Smith, Hobbs, Ruthven, Tyler and Simmons in the Lee/Bastrop/Milam county areas.
In the Milam, Williamson and Fayette counties I am researching my maternal line: Druesedow, Dornbusch, and Tieken. This maternal line consists of German immigrants from the 1800's.
I will gladly transfer memorials to any family members that are more closely related than I am.

 | RE: Cameron Cemetery, Lee county, TX Hi Vicky, According to "Lee County, Texas Cemeteries Volume No. 1 Update" theCameron Cemetery and the Center Point Cemetery are two different cemeteries. Cameron Cemtery is on the highway and Ceter Point is behind it or to the south, Center Point Methodist Church was at one time located here. Melanie | | | Phyllis Pesch
 | RE: cameron cemetery Thank you so much!!! How did you find it and how many graves are there? Did you photograph them all?

 | RE: cameron cemetery I live in Missouri and am not familiar with the cemeteries in Lee Co. but I just had a photo posted to Eleanora Cameron's memorial #47618477. I'm not sure where the grave is located but believe it's in Cameron Cem. The person who posted it didn't take the photo. It was in her parents' pictures and was taken in 1993. | | | Melanie Hester
 | Thomas Milton Tyler I will try to visit the Guthrie Cemetery and look for his headstone, the notation in the Lee County Cemeteries book, says that the stone is small, with the name Milton Tyler, and no dates thereon! Let you know what I find. Melanie | | | Lavonne Carroll
 | RE: Pictures I'm sorry, I just presumed the message would be on the grave I was looking at. My great grandmother was Martha Helen Ruthven Smith. My grandmother was Minnie Alice Smith Boswell, and my mother was Hellon Boswell Parker. I am interested in any pictures you may have. Thanks! | | | | [View all messages...] |
