John Snyder 30802268 and his wife Elsy.
My husband and I were under the Harmony Presbyterian Church today where John & Elsy Snyder are buried. They are buried under the new addition to the church. I have added their gravestones to their memorials. They are fairly readable as there is no light and we had to shine light on them to make them readable.

Yandeau family in Lowville cemetery
Just wish to thank you for putting some of my Yandeau extended family on this site.
I did not grow up knowing much about my father's Yandeau's because the family was separated. Filling in the gaps is helped greatly by people like yourself who take a moment of their time to walk cemeteries and randomly make memorials, never knowing how some day they will touch people's lives. Small pieces of a jigsaw puzzle are finally coming together.
Thanks again.

RE: Greenwood Cemetery
I've been working with a couple folks and we have come up with more information than I think any of us thought was available about Greenwood. Unfortunately, the earliest information we have found dates from 1891, which is 40 years after the Cemetery was established. However, I am working on a database that incorporates all of the information we have found to date, and will allow for the addition of any other information that might be found in the future. It's a start anyway.

Take care.

I added pictures for Joseph and his wife Anna. There are 2 next to them, Patrick and Harry. I have pictures of those as well, if you want to create their memorials and request a picture!

RE: Greenwood Cemetery
Hi, Karen,

I'm working with the funeral director in the town on doing a photo map of the extant stones and names. He is at least interested in knowing who is there and where, which is more than I can say for the present town council. My mother got four plot maps decades ago, although she was looking for specific people and didn't get maps for the entire cemetery. I was told that the only official records that can still be found list fewer than 900 burials, and that's about what was on find-a-grave. I have it up to 2,329 now, with a spreadsheet in the works with about 180 more, and about 300 more photos to check against the existing memorials.

Do you know how I can add information to the cemetery description? And if I could add four plot maps? I have never tried to do anything like that before, and haven't found an obvious way to do it. I would appreciate any pointers you could offer.

Take care.

Wondering if
You had realized that you had put in a site for Isaac Henry Rice in 2013 #105826010 when there was already one there for him that I had put in 2011. Henry was the husband of my gram's sister Rosa Leigh Rice. On mine he has many family connections. And thee are several photos. You can see mine directly above your entry.
