Thank you so much for transferring my great uncles' memorials to me, Barb!
|Marcia Lynne vonGunden||Transfer and a big thank you|
I am so sorry...I just realized that I had not yet thanked you for the following transfer:
Mariah Jane "Maria" Barger # 129613337
I have been able to link her with her parents, seven of her nine siblings, her husband and listed her five children.
As I receive more information I will be adding it to OUR memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,
I finally found Edwin and added his photo to his memorial. There were three or four other Evans in that same area. I will have their photos up in a few days.

You're very welcome, as always. There were several in the same plot so I added photos for them all.
|Carl Catherman||John Scott Catherman|
That was really fast! Thank you very much for updating his memorial.

You're very welcome. I marked the GPS coordinates so that if anyone ever wants to visit the location in the future they will be able to find it quickly. The numbers aren't all in order in that section of the cemetery, and I was having a difficult time determining where the graves should have been. The grounds workers noticed me wandering all around looking lost, and started helping me search for the graves. When none of us were having any luck, one of them went to retrieve the map of the burials in that section. With the grounds map we finally found the spot, only to find that both graves were together, but unmarked.

I tried to fulfill your photo request for Willis Huntington, but did not find his marker. However, I did find a huge marker with the name Huntington on it. Near this marker I found Catherine T. Huntington (his wife?). I posted both pictures to Catherine Huntington's memorial. If you wish, I can post the larger Huntington marker to Willis' memorial. By the way, there was a small US flag near the marker, which would indicate a serviceman's grave. You can see the flag holder in the photo. I had to move the flag out of the way to take the photo because it was covering part of the name.
