I am a high school math teacher and have been doing geneaology for over 20 years with extensive research on my extended family. I have traced some lines back to the early 1600's with almost all lines into the 1700's. My family is all from either the Pfalz in Germany or from the counties of Carmarthenshire, Glamorganshire, Breconshire and Monmouthshire in Wales. All of my lines settled in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The vast majority of my family is buried in Pittston Avenue Cemetery, Abington Hills Cemetery and Washburn Street Cemetery. Although many of my submissions are those of family members and family friends, many more are cemeteries that I have walked and recorded or graves near those which were photo requests. Sometimes I just walk cemeteries to record what is there. Even the best kept cemeteries have stones that are eroding and decaying. If we don't record this information that is there, it may disappear forever, as so many stones have.
I am not territorial. I post photos and information for everyone to share. I don't understand those who feel that they "own" information in a cemetery that is clearly there for to see. We all live in different places. How great it is to be able to share what is close to our homes with people from all over who can never visit a cemetery in person. Feel free to use any family photos for your personal use. It is not necessary to give me the credit. Just don't use them for profit. I abhor people who profit from the stolen work of others.
Although I welcome any corrections that you may find on my submissions and look forward to hearing from any family members or anyone else who is just plain interested, please do not contact me if you are not willing to leave your name. I don't deal with anonymous. I will happily transfer ownership of any page to any family members who politely ask, but please do not involve me in any family squabbles. I do this to help others and for fun. Let's keep it fun. | |

 | August Rynkiewicz Memorial Tom,
Is there any chance that there is a headstone for August Rynkiewicz and if so could you possibly take a photo for me and email it to me?
Are there any other Rynkiewicz's/Renkiewicz's buried at the same cemetery as August?
Thanks for all you do and God Bless
