Hezekiah Pursley
My husband and I are searching for information on Hezekiah Pursley Memorial # 107751636 you created. DOD of 9/4/1906 and you referenced the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Do you by chance have this article? Hezekiah is my husbands 2nd great grandfather and we don't know much about him. In fact we are at a road block on his parents/siblings. Any information you are willing to share we would be so thankful.

Best Wishes,
Michele & Jeff Pursley

Benjamin F. Peterson
Benjamin Franklin Peterson was my great grandfather. He married Mary Elizabeth Carroll. Their son Leroy Peterson married Linnie Belle Campbell. They are buried at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Douglas County. Are you a cousin?

Thank you so much for posting this record for Mrs Sarah Campbell who is buried at Westview cemetery in Atlanta. This is my great grandmother and I did not know when she died or where she was buried. Her husband is also buried at Westview-Rev Gip Campbell. I checked the notice from the AJC and was able to confirm that it was my ggrandmother. Thanks again!!

Death Takes E. D. L. Mobley
Pioneer Citizen Ill for One Week With Pneumonia

E. D. L. Mobley, a well-known citizen of Atlanta, died last night at 8:15 o'clock at his residence, 48 Culberson street, in West End, after an illness of one week with pneumonia. Mr. Mobley was 73 years of age and had been a resident of the city since the war between the states.

The funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. The interment will occur in Westview cemetery.

Mr. Mobley is survived by his widow and the following children, Mrs. Bessie May Daviddie, Miss Eloise, Mrs. Thomas Edward Bunn, of East Point, and Stuart W. Mobley, of El Paso, Tex. Miss Lizzie Hale, a sister-in-law, and Lizzie Deming, a niece, also survive him.

Mr. Mobley served four years in the civil war with the confederate army, and during the latter part was a member of Leyden's detachment of artillery. Just after the surrender he returned to Atlanta and entered journalism, at different times being associated with the old Intelligencer and The New Era.

He was perhaps better known in business, as a real estate man and was connected with George Adair for a long number of years. Mr. Mobley was a devout member of Park Street Methodist church and belonged to the Atlanta camp No. 159, United Confederate Veterans. Mrs. Mobley, his widow, was, before marriage, Miss Rowena J. Hale, of Warrenton, Ga.

RE: Humphries
Took a look through lots of photos and didn't see any of Humphries. Can you tell me the approximate date of the original message to you? That might narrow it down. Thanks
