My name is Jeff Thomas and I trace the Thomas family that came over from England in the the early to mid 1600's and began in Maryland then moved down into North Carolina and some into South Carolina. I live on the south side of Atlanta GA and am willing to help anyone looking for graves in the Clayton, Fayette, Coweta, Spalding and Meriwether counties. My main Thomas research is concentrated in Stanley, Union and Anson counties of North Carolina. And Talbot and Queen Annes counties in Maryland.|

Don't worry, after 6.5 decades, I can't remember a lot either. Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. E.

Jeff, You sent me a message dated last year, Mar 17, 2012, wit reference to my GABLE family members: George (1850-1906), Mary 1853-1938, etc. However I cannot find the cemetery we were discussing. I evidently did not save to favorites. Can you recall which cemetery we were discussing? Thanks Evelynne

It looks like the photo had someone else to the right, and I now believe his wife Nancy Lynch Chappell is to his left.
Thanks for posting these photos and giving permission to add to personal genealogy research.
|A. Liles Hok||Question|
Thanks for posting photos for James Chappell #10389907. I'm wondering if this is my ggg-grandmother's brother. I noticed you had a photo of the marker beside his, but the image was too small to read.
Would you happen to have a duplicate image or record of who the marker was beside his?

No I stumbled across it at Holy Cross while wondering around. But you can call Holy Cross and ask them.

Gormé and Lawrence had two sons together, David, an ASCAP award winning composer, and Michael, who died suddenly from ventricular fibrillation resulting from an undiagnosed heart condition in 1986, at the age of 23. Michael was an assistant editor for a television show at the time of his death and was apparently healthy despite a previous diagnosis of slight arrhythmia.

The cemetery info was published in a Las Vegas newspaper. She'll be laid to rest beside her son that died in his early 20s. If you're able to find out what his name is, the cemetery will give you his location. Due to Jewish tradition, she won't be marked for at least a year.

I was just riding thru the cemetery and ran across it. I think it is on the main road into the cemetery (going north) poss 2 - 3 10ths of a mile on the left side. I just caught it from the corner of my eye and stopped. Are you from the Griffin Area ?
Next time I go that way I will swing back in and try to get a better location.
