RE: Sgt Earl Edward McFarland
Mike,

Please go to Earl's memorial and send your question through the suggestion link inside the EDIT button on the upper right hand corner of the memorial.

We enter so many people, I can't know where Earl's memorial is located to be able to answer your question.

RE: Angelo B. Reina
As far as I can tell, this does look like the same Angelo BReina. Are you able to add this photo to this Find A Grave memorial? That would be awesome.

Hey Mike,

Looks like the picture you added for Andrew Lytle Jr. (Memorial # 21781012) needs to be deleted as it is actually a photo of his grandfather, Andrew Lytle (Memorial # 5772193). A photo of him is already on that memorial, however, you might still want to add your pic to the grandfather's memorial since it is a better photograph than the one already there. Thanks.

I'd like your permission to use your photo in my Ancestry family tree. Credit/Source is always given to the original photographer/submitter.

Thanks so much for adding this to his memorial.

RE: MICHAEL & MALINDA MORELOCK
That would be extremely nice Mike if you could
send me a larger picture !!! I also appreciate
knowing where the Tennessee Virtual Archives is
located. You do have my email address, right ??
I was "very" moved yesterday to see this picture
and to also realize that Michael Morelock most
likely chose the Confederate side. My other
great-great grandfather, "Powell", in Greene Co.,
Tennessee was a Union Sgt. They were neighbors.
Mary Morelock married Samuel Powell in 1878, long
after the "war" (my great grandparents).

Thank you Mike. Mary

RE: MICHAEL & MALINDA MORELOCK
Hi Mike,

Yes, this is the 1st time that I have seen THIS
picture. I have a smaller version with them
both sitting down but believe my copy is from
a tin type which has smudges on Michael's face.
Your picture is much, much clearer. And I
certainly did NOT know that Michael worked at
Bumpass Cove, TN. (not sure where that is) nor what a Confederate Iron Works is ?? I thought
Michael was a farmer ??

I did click on the photo and saw a web site which
states: teva.contentdm......... Is this the
Tennessee Virtual Archive ??? I have NOT gone
to this site, yet.

I have a picture of who I believe is Nathan
Morelock 1805 - 1882 and his wife, Rachel 1805 -
1857 which is old - it appears that it has been
colored by crayon. The paper is a cream colored
somewhat heavier paper. It has been colored or
lightly painted. Nathan & Rachel would be
Michael's parents. It is really getting worn. NOT
framed.

Was this picture donated to the Tennessee Virtual
Archives. Is it ONLY on the internet or does
this Archives actually exist in TN?? Many
years ago I knew this lady who lived in Greene
Co., TN. She had many large "framed" pictures
of relatives but I never asked if I could make
or have a copy !! Sad.

I actually still have a "scarf" that belonged
to Malinda. It was given to my aunt (a child
at the time) when the family loaded up and moved
from Tennessee to Kansas !!

Thank you Mike. I would like to go to this TN
Virtual Archive site and also Google "Crayon
Print". Mary in Missouri

MICHAEL & MALINDA MORELOCK

MIKE - I "SINCERELY" THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL
PICTURE OF MY GREAT-GREAT GRANDPARENTS THAT
YOU POSTED ON FIND-A-GRAVE OF (MICHAEL & MALINDA MORELOCK). THE PICTURE THAT I HAVE, I BELIEVE, CAME FROM A TIN TYPE. I AM NOT COMPLETELY CERTAIN BUT I MAY HAVE A CRAYON PRINT OF NATHAN MORELOCK & HIS WIFE, RACHEL, WHO ARE "PARENTS" OF MICHAEL MORELOCK.
MY FATHER WAS BORN IN GREENE COUNTY, TN. I
HAVE TIN TYPES AND PICTURES THAT MAY "NEVER"
BE IDENTIFIED !! THANK YOU.

Hansford James #70211266
What an unexpected but pleasant surprise when I visited the memorial for Hansford James who was my great, great grandfather.

Thank you so much for the nice contribution to his memorial as well as for my family photo collection.

I would be pleased if you would read my Bio and visit my parents' memorials by clicking on their links.
