I am a Christian Mother to 3 children 1 daughter & 2 sons. I am a "Mi Mi" to one grand baby girl Haylee! Who has brought so much joy to my home. And has helped us through the deaths of my Mother & sister. Its been a rough road. But I will keep pressing on with Christ. The God of the mountain is still God of the Valley! Find a Grave website has helped me with the grieving of my loved ones.
Here are some of my favorite verses that have been a help to me:
Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Psalms 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
Family Names I am interested in:
My Mothers Family- Justus, Huggins, Orr, Summey, Golden, Stalcup, Galloway, Allison, Reeves or Reevis, Davenport, Most from: Hendersonville North Carolina Transylvania County Brevard
Robert D. Justus Hi Beth, I found a census/survey of Gillespie Evergreen - http://cemeterycensus.com/nc/tran/cem001.htm Cem. and it has Robert David Justus listed in it. You may want to change his burial place. My brother is a good friend with his son. Regards,
Katy D Did you check in Houston County for her obit? If you checked with the funeral home in Dover, TN (Anglin)or the one in Erin (Nave) they probably have her records. After reading this yesterday I checked with a friend and she said Erin, TN.
The Leaf Chronicle and The Stewart Houston Times listed her obit. Good Luck.
RE: stalcup family There were 3 Eli Stalcups in a row in my line. The first migrated to Greene County, Indiana from North Carolina about 1820 with his second wife and Family. His son from the first marriage, Stephen Stalcup, also migrated at the same time. Most of the Stalcups from Greene County, Indiana are descendats of these two men. My Great-Grandfather Eli Franklin Stalcup was one of them.
You are loved! Beth, I cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me that you have left flowers for my son, Daniel William, NUMEROUS times. They are beautiful, precious, and gratefully welcomed. It's quite obvious that you are one of Christ's beloved ones. Thank you.
Hello Beth, It is really great to hear from you Beth!!! I am glad you are alright. It is always an honor to visit your family. I love them all. I also thank you for leaving a beautiful token. I appreciate you sharing with me about your sister. I always think we hold those cute memories of and it will make you smile. I have not been on find a grave to much lately. Before school started I was on for 10 hours a day. Right now I am really busy at school and I run out of time. It can be very addicting, and thats not good. I will still try as hard as I can to make sure I am there for your loved ones. I will always keep you and your family in my prayers. Take care Beth....
