|Born in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. My father was born Crabb in Easton, Maine. His father was born in New Brunswick, Canada. The Crabbs are a Loyalist family coming to what is now New Brunswick from Westchester County, NY at the end of the Revolutionary War.|
My mother was a Merrill, the first of our line in Dover, Maine, about 1821, being True Merrill. Our whole line is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.

When John Wesley Lewis was born on September 13, 1902, in Pittston, Maine, his father, Thomas Stuart Lewis, was 29 and his mother, Alice Julia Neal, was 25. He has six children with Primrose May silk and one more child. He died on February 10, 1983, in New Brunswick, at the age of 80.
Thank you for all your work. I am his granddaughter and thought you may wish his death and birth dates. I also included his parents!
I am curious as to why you have the Adventist links. That's what I was raised.

You're very welcome. Now that it's not so humid outside, I will likely be out photographing more in my spare time. -C
|Kathy||Levi Henry Davis - Whoops!|
I hope you are doing well.
Thanks for catching my omission. I didn't realize I hadn't linked Levi and Mary.
I knew Levi was a minister, but I didn't know the denomination. Thanks for including that. By any chance do you have any other information about him?

Hi Duane -
If you would be so kind as to check my contributor page, I believe you may be able to make some connections for Nita who has left a couple msgs recently. The pic she refers to is for a Mary Giggey Crabtree in Van Vlack Cem in Kane Co, IL. While hunting around for other Giggeys on Find A Grave, I noticed you had created some memorials for at least a couple Giggeys so with the cross in names, I thought perhaps you may have info useful to her. Thanks! Susan
