Helen Bowers Morrell
According to Helen's obituary of September 26, 1946 from The Norwich Sun, she was buried in the Riverside Cemetery in South New Berlin. Have you come across her gravestone?
Both her parents, William and Cora Bowers as well as her sister Mrs. Frankie Bowers Brooks are buried in that cemetery. If you happen to locate her gravestone, I'd appreciate it if you added it to Find a grave. Thank You.

Payne headstones
Ann, It's been quite a number of years since I searched the Riverside Cemetery for headstones. At that time I was interested in finding the headstone of my gr gr gr grandfather John B. Carnrike. I found his headstone by checking the burial records of Riverside cemetery kept by the caretaker. She didn't have a record of his burial but did have a record of the burial of his wife, Desire Carnrike. When I checked Desires burial site there was no marker for her but I did find the overturned headstone of John B. Since she had died in 1902 and John B. died in 1881, she was obviously buried in his plot. Have you ever had any contact with the Riverside caretaker? As I recall she was located about 1/2 way up the hill on the road between S. New Berlin and Norwich. What I'm afraid of is that the Paynes never had permanent headstones and the markers put there by the undertaker are long gone. Thanks for what you've done. John Chapman

More headstone photos
In your travels through Riverside cemetery did you notice the headstones of Albert and Gertrude Payne? According to their obits they're both buried in the South New Berlin Cemetery, but nobody seems to be able to find them. Albert was the editor of the South New Berlin Bee for many years so I would think he would have some kind of a marker.
