Sgt. Cornelius Tarkington
Thanks for getting both of his wives and children listed! Yes, the tombstone in Beaver Hill Cemetery was supposed to be for him. We have no idea why it wasn't, except he did die in Raleigh.

Douglas Copeland, photo request for Lakeside Cemetery
Hello, there is no permanent marker for this memorial, and the temporary marker from the photo is now illegible. I'm sorry for the bad news... Also, the plot # looks to be incorrect. The letters that would be used in this cemetery are L, T or O and a map can be found here:
You may want to check with the sexton for the correct plot # and I would be happy to check again for you, if he is buried in a different location. :)

Mason Family photos
Good morning. I just want to thank you for fulfilling my photo requests. I am researching my Famy tree and these pictures are such a bonus! May I use these photos in my Ancestry Tree? I have just added my Grandparents to the MOunt Pleasant Cemetery in Creswell, and photo requests for a few of my Family members buried there. These burial sites are very important as they are a part of my immediate family. If you should find yourself in that area or know of another Find A Grave volunteer I would be most appreciative. I live in NY and have limited mobility issues..Again Thank you. Teresa Stillman

P.S. regarding photos of Hughes of graveston especially in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
14April2016~ I wrote below "We will probably be requesting other photos of the other (there are about 30+) Hughes in this cemetery; most do not have FindAGrave gravestone photos."
There are exactly 40 Hughes that have FindAGrave Memorial pages located in Beaver Hill Cemetery (URL link at bottom). But, 29 do not have gravestone photos. My wife and I will later on be asking for photos on **ONLY a few of them***, but (for "heaven's betsy") not all. (Again, we'd do it ourselves, but we are both severely disabled). She is probably related to all of them, but as yet does not know most of them. I am in the process of doing a genealogy research tree on especially the Hughes, but also Hoggard, and Betz families (her relations) with my Ancestry . com membership. ~~~~~~~~
Again, thank you for the David and Nannie Hughes photos, and for all your hard work as a FindAGrave volunteer.~~~~~~~~
P.S. Here is the Hughes FindAGrave Memorial Beaver Hill Cemetery URL link if you need it:
