Hi - just looked up your great grandfather, Alexander Thrower. I do remember working with you on him. Did I recommend the book, "Melones Memories," by Milo Bird? Great info about the town and people.
Also, maybe you can answer a question I've had. When I photographed Sharon's marker, I noticed it was placed on a retaining wall. I wondered if the marker was just a "remembrance" sort of thing or if she was actually buried in the plot.
Take care, Phyllis

Hi Rhona - I'm so glad I was able to help you in the past and again now. I will happily transfer Sharon to you. Would love to meet with you and her family, but I'll be moving to the coast in January/February. However if you make it here before then, let me know and we can definitely meet up. Regards, Phyllis

Hi - thank you for sending the link to her father. I noticed a Julie Thrower in the same cemetery as Sharon's father. Is this Sharon's mother by chance?
Are you related? If so, I'll be happy to give you the management if you would like it. Regards, Phyllis
Anna: Thanks for sending Julia's mother's link. It has beeen made. I got to looking and now I am not sure of all her husband's names. Confused. LOL. And I don't seem to have a link for her father.
Thanks for your help and all the work you do here.

I didn't see one close by. Do you know his first name? I can look him up on the burial locator.
|Maureen Davis||RE: Frank and Ann Randle|
I did request the transfer of Frank Randle, (my husband's Great Uncle), and his wife Ann Randle.
I see your name as the "Original Creator" of
Frank Randle, Find A Grave# 46695291 and
Ann Randle, Find A Grave# 56695290
So, some other middle person must have transferred them. Sorry for the confusion. Your name is still listed on the memorial as the original creator, along with mine as the 'current maintainee".
Thanks for your note,
|Maureen Davis||Frank Randle and Ann Randle|
Thank you so much for transferring Frank and Ann Randle's Find-a-grave memorials to me. We had been looking for them for a while. This was Frank's 2nd wife, and they are not buried in the same cemetery as his first wife and child who died tragically.
Frank Randle was the first son born to my husband's GG Aunt Mariah Davis Randle.

Thanks so much for transferring my Sweany family to me. It means a lot to manage them. RoxAnne Sweany
|shellsmiles||Lester W. Rhodes 1890 - 1964|
This is a copy of a email I sent to someone I think has the same connection as you do, Lester Rhodes.
Today I went by East Lawn Cemetery and located Lester Rhodes per your request.
There were a total of 4 Rhodes buried next to each other. They buried in the order from left to right as I have listed them below. I did not take a photo of their headstones today because the sun was down and the shadows did not make for a good photo. I will go back either tomorrow or sometime this week and take a photo of all 4 headstones.
Here were the names:
Mildred C. Rhodes 1889 - 1969
Raymond George Rhodes 1894 - 1964
Lester W. Rhodes 1890 - 1964
Delores E. Rhodes 07/16/1909 - 11/11/1998
I see there is a Find a grave site on Delores, but she is spelled Dolores. The date on her headstone is also noted as Nov. 11th not Nov. 9th as her death announcement reads on the other site. Maybe you know the manager of that site I'm not sure.
By the way, my cousins in Chicago are Rhodes. My Uncle (Charles) Chuck Rhodes was their father who passed away many years ago in Chicago. I wonder if my Uncle had a line tied up with your Rhodes.
I'll get those photos taken soon.
Have a great night!
