Those We Love Don't Go Away,
They Walk Beside Us Every Day,
Unseen, Unheard, But Always Near,
Still Loved, Still Missed And Very Dear.

They continue to live in our hearts, in our memories, in Heaven.

Native American Prayer
Author: Unknown

I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still in each new dawn.

I am a child of God,
And he has sent me here,
Has given me an earthly home
With parents kind and dear.

I am a child of God,
And so my needs are great;
Help me to understand his words
Before it grows to late.

I am a child of God.
Rich blessings are in store;
If I but learn to do his will
I'll live with him once more.

Lead me, guide me, walk beside me,
Help me find the way.
Teach me all that I must do
To live with him someday.

Old folks are worth a fortune:
With silver in their hair, gold in their teeth, stones in their kidneys, lead in their feet and gas in their stomachs.

I have become a lot more social with the passing of the years; some might even call me a frivolous old gal. I'm seeing five gentlemen every day.

As soon as I wake, Will Power helps me get out of bed. Then I go see John. Then Charley Horse comes along, and when he is here, he takes a lot of my time and attention. When he leaves, Arthur Ritis shows up and stays the rest of the day. (He doesn't like to stay in one place very long, so he takes me from joint to joint.) After such a busy day, I'm really tired and glad to go to bed - with Ben Gay. What a life!

P.S. The preacher came to call the other day. He said that at my age, I should be thinking about the hereafter. I told him I do - all the time. No matter where I am - in the parlor, upstairs in the kitchen or down in the basement - I ask myself, "Now, what am I here after?"

Huffman photos - Grangeville Cem
Thank you so very much for the photos of my Huffman relatives in Grangeville Cemetery. Mattie was my great grandmother's stepmother who raised her after her mother died. A large group of the family moved to California during the Depression, and I didn't know where they ended up until recently. Thanks for your help. Amy

Huffman photos - Grangeville Cem
Thank you so much for the photos of the Huffman graves in Grangeville Cemetery. George Arthur was my great grandmother's brother and Leslie Eli was her half brother. Are you related as well? I see that you created some of the Huffman memorials. If you are related, I'd like to compare information. I've also added a memorial for George's wife Luvada. Can you add your photos to that one too? Thanks so much. ~Amy

RE: Re: Duplicate memorial
I have asked that they delete her memorial for your husband and also that they mark her as inactive. I have had things take upward of 6 months going through the regular channels, I am in hopes because I went directly to someone that it will be done quickly. You have waited long enough.

RE: Re: Duplicate memorial
I am so sorry that you have had no luck in having this resolved, especially since this is for your husband. Have you tried to write to if you have and have gotten nowhere, might I suggest going to one of the big wigs here? If I can help in any way let me know.
